Vivienne Hu Chosen as a Mentor for the Centennial Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show

Vivienne Hu has been chosen as a mentor for the Centennial Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She will be working with a group of 12 fashion students for two semesters, providing instruction and guidance for the students’ final semester project. By the end of the program, each student will have created one garment which falls under the overarching theme of “Limitless”.

Vivienne Hu is a New York City based designer whose collections exhibit an eclectic mix of European sophistication and downtown New York charm, with a touch of Asian elegance. Before her emergence in the fashion industry, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of Hohenheim, located in Germany. Then she worked in the New York investment banking industry for over 3 years. Due to her immense passion for fashion and art, as well as her desire to help independent women flaunt their bold personalities and femininity in a unique way, she made a career change. Vivienne Hu made her debut into the fashion world with her Spring/Summer collection in New York Fashion Week 2012. Since 2014, her brand has participated annually in New York Fashion Week. Her work has been featured in fashion magazines such as WWD, Elle, The Cut, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue Italia. Her latest achievement is receiving the 2019 USC Pacific Asia Museum Gala Visionary Artist Award.

Ever since Vivienne Hu received the 2019 USC Pacific Asia Museum Gala Visionary Artist Award, recognition of her brand has spread to the West Coast. Her work has caught the attention of the Otis College of Art and Design and she was selected to be a mentor for the Centennial Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show program. The program connects upperclassmen fashion students with prominent members of the fashion industry, who work closely with the students throughout the academic year. During the year-long mentorship, Otis students create works that are ultimately showcased in an annual fashion show, which fundraises scholarship money for underprivileged students. Past year’s mentors include Robert Lee of Adidas, creative talent from Ralph Lauren, and Jason Wu.

Ever since Vivienne Hu received the 2019 USC Pacific Asia Museum Gala Visionary Artist Award, recognition of her brand has spread to the West Coast

Vivienne says that she has “never been so close to students before” especially in a group, although she has previously held seminars at Parsons School of Design to talk about the marketing and business aspects of the fashion industry. This opportunity is one that Vivienne is incredibly passionate about as she feels strongly about educating and inspiring young students in hopes that they will follow a distinguished career path in fashion.

The key element is the sculptural, geometric and rigid shape with reassuring, sharp and clean lines: a high visual impact is guaranteed.

Unexpected steel details – on handles, finishes and label – alternate to diversified contemporary textures: the wire mesh creates dynamic movements, the colorful PVC brightens the everyday with iridescent hues, the gloss surface is filled with pastel or off white shades.

Two sizes – mini and medium – to fall in love with and to flaunt in any occasion, ensuring a polished and whimsical style for every moment.

Instagram Star & Top Model Simonetta Lein on How to Use Social Media to Embrace Differences

Fashion and TV personality Simonetta Lein shares how she empowers millions of people every day to be confident with their body and the skin they are in.

Simonetta Lein is worldly recognized as a true powerhouse. As a model and tv personality, she uses her influence to bring awareness to important topics. Advocating to empower all of her followers on how to smash body dysmorphia, this is a true reminder that EVERY BODY IS A GOOD BODY.

Q: How do you feel social media has impacted female perceptions of their body?

Social media has given women freedom of being who we want to be, whenever and wherever.

At the same time, filters, and selective information have made many obsessed with being “perfect.” As with any good thing, the other side of the coin can show a dangerous side. We have to start the conversation. We all want to look good on the ‘gram, but let’s remember that it is only one part of our lives.

let’s remember social media is only one part of our lives

In the end it is just social media, literally.

Body shaming exists on the internet, and in real life. Let’s all become more careful with our words; you never know what someone is going through. On the other hand, social media opened up doors to different ways of beauty: curvy models are on the runways, mothers with their babies. Social media can be tricky but gave us also an important freedom to be who we want to be, respecting others and showing that every body is a beautiful body.

curvy models are on the runways, mothers with their babies

Q: How do you use your platform to teach women to love their body and the skin they are in?

I try daily to inspire and sparkle positive energy around me.

As a result, women feel empowered, they often connect to my story and feel that if I did it, they can somehow do it too. I was never shy when sharing my journey, how I had to restart my life from scratch without any safety net.

So many young girls look at what I do as an example. I want them to feel confident and believe they can achieve whatever they decide to be and do. I also share the struggle and the work ethic, as I believe that real results get gained with commitment and determination.

Q: As a woman in the spotlight, do you feel there are social pressures for you to look a certain way?

Yes, absolutely. I feel public figures have a moral duty to be an example and to share topics that can empower and give something back. I sometimes feel overwhelmed, and I had to learn how to rest and how to be even more focused on what really matters.

It is important to surround yourself with positive and understanding people, and to learn your boundaries: when it is time to push and when it is time to rest. When tired, learn how to rest; not to give up.

learn how to rest; not to give up

Q: What advice would you give women struggling with their body image?

I believe in talking with experts if you feel you are really struggling. Seek professional help, as there is nothing bad about it; actually, it requires a courageous person to do so.

I know that whomever is struggling and is reading me has the strength to do the right thing. It is all about perception; we aim to become someone or something else, when the true beauty is your own uniqueness.

true beauty is your own uniqueness

That is what makes us interesting; otherwise we would be all the same, right? Trust me, everyone struggles. When you see the best of us on the ‘gram, that was a process and an effort to give the best, not the representation of the absolute truth.

Instagram is an effort to give the best, not the absolute truth

Get social media as an inspiration, but learn that the world wants your own story. And this is not just a saying.

After years of battling myself with being shy, becoming red in front of my teachers or others, thinking I was never enough, actually having one of my teachers telling me I would never accomplish much in life, I have understood that my issue was comparing myself with others.

When someone accuses you of something it is because that person is personally struggling. If you cannot handle it, please talk with an expert about it but don’t keep the pain inside.

When someone accuses you of something it is because that person is struggling

When I was 16 I was told if I wanted to become a professional model, I had to basically stop eating. True story. First of all, what they told me is not the truth. But at 16 it can be very dangerous. I said to myself that I wanted to enjoy life, I always took care of myself and my body for sure, but I would have never put myself in danger for the opinion of someone else. I was lucky, as my parents guided me well.

I understand that those words spoken a fragile teenager can be devastating. Please, understand you have social media as a possibility to create a name for yourself. That is what I did and at the end I modeled at NYFW and at Madison Square Garden. There is no better revenge that prove them wrong, right?

Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from to empower millions of people on a daily basis?

I sit down, think about what I want to communicate, go through my material and get in my creative mood.

I also ask advice of my husband and my team. One thing that helped me a lot was finally realizing that in the end, we all want the same things. I then started to think what legacy I wanted to leave. When you start to think outside of your everyday life you can easily understand we all have the power to inspire and to make someone’s life better. I think about my legacy, what I would like people to remember about me. That gives me a tremendous inspiration.

Q: How do you teach and encourage people to embrace the differences?

Differences are what are truly interesting in life. We all have to learn to be curious of others, not suspicious. We can all learn from each other’s ways. We have to re-learn how to amicably debate not to argue, how to agree to disagree sometimes. That is the beauty. Thank God we are all different and we can absolutely co-exist and enrich each other.

Thank God we are all different

I live in the US and I remember my first time in New York City, when I fell in love with seeing people of every kind, just being all Americans. It is something that touched my heart deeply, and I felt an extreme power in it.

What if we understand that we are all humans and we can all coexist and enrich each other? Let’s never be tired of sharing love.

Meet Dr. Bilal Ali, Founder and Creative Behind NOIR|LDN

Meet Dr. Bilal Ali founder and creative behind NOIR|LDN

Dr Bilal Ali is a medical doctor who founded the London based-brand NOIR|LDN a few months ago. Dr Ali has always been affiliated with fashion and has had interest in clothes from a young age. He draws influence from his mother and sister who both have a deep love for fashion.

The UK native was raised with grounded foundations and instilled with strong values which displays in the recent collection. Pieces included are sweat suits with a side layer which highlights NOIR|LDN, T shirts as well as casual wear.

[portfolio_slideshow id=81842 align=center width=699 click=advance thumbnailsize=40 showcaps=false]

Q: I know you had the passion for fashion but what finally pushed you to really get involved and create your own?

The timing was right for me to launch a new business. I was at stage in life that I was the pinnacle of my medical profession, other business interests were progressing and I just wanted a fresh challenge in life – having a natural interest in fashion provided the perfect incentive to explore this world.

Q: Why did you choose these styles of clothing?

For my first collection, I wanted to create a collection that represents clothes that I would wear coupled with current fashion trends and what I felt that our target demographic wanted.

Q: Who are some designers you look forward to working with?

There are many designers that I like but I guess at the moment the work that Virgil Abloh has done is amazing. His journey from being an architect to establishing one of the most iconic brands in the world, Off-White and now also being the Artistic Direction of Louis Vuitton is an inspiration story and he has definitely influenced many designers across the world.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

From a professional standpoint, to do more of what I am already doing, working in both medical and business world. In 5 years, I would like to see NOIR|LDN become an internationally recognized label, be a leader in design and also have a women’s line. These are obviously ambitious goals in very difficult and competitive industry but its important in any industry to set strong goals and objectives otherwise it defeats the purpose of starting something in the first place.

Q: What is some advice you want to give to fellow medical field workers that want to dive into other creative fields?

I would definitely encourage for fellow medical professional to explore other interests that they may have. The work in medicine is intense, both physically and mentally very engaging but extremely rewarding. I find the work that I do outside medicine really helps to complement and helps balance the challenges working as a doctor. It took years of relentless hard work to become a doctor – I see it as a privilege and would never leave the profession.

I know many medical professionals that have various lines of work outside of medicine — anything from medtech companies to restaurants!

Ranked among the top 1% of universities worldwide*, the University of Southampton is recognised as a global centre for excellence in research and education. Current vision is a celebration of this year’s talent coming to fruition; a culmination of their learning and a visual presentation of each individuals journey and identity as a designer. Whilst pure form in combination with gender identity and fluidity continue to influence the face of contemporary fashion, the collections this year see a shift in mindset. The reality of the world we live in has forced designers to reflect on the environment and the sustainability of their practise, as well as their own identity. Beauty and the aesthetic are no longer the only preoccupation of the creative mind; functionality and form, alongside sustainability and simplicity, echo throughout the collections as we move towards a new awareness in fashion design. This year, designers have been heavily influenced by the notion of being a ‘Citizen of the World’ – their individual environmental and social responsibility. In parallel with this mindset designers have investigated and reflected upon their own personal and private worlds as well as politics, gender and society at large. Current Vision only represents a small fraction of the outstanding work produced on the BA Fashion course at WSA. Collections shown are selected for their runway presence in terms of uniqueness in design as well as material choice, silhouette and construction.

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2020 RTW

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2020 RTW

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2020 transports you to Northern Italy, to a luxurious sixteenth century palazzo sitting peacefully on the shores of Lake Como. The elevated taste of Italian nobility and style icon Marella Agnelli capture the essence of this season: jewel toned dresses and metallic brocade fabrics blossom into romantic yet dramatic silhouettes. Decadent beading and artisanal pleating captivate the fantasy of the modern Contessa.

Flowy capes and infinite trains become a statement of regality and lightness. Jewel tones like Aquamarine, Zircon, Amber and Burnt Sienna create a feminine, fresh palette. Relaxed and effortless beauty is becoming a consistent message of the Maison: fresh printed floral dresses are juxtaposed with structured and architectural faille gowns — here often paired with satin draped mules. A nostalgic homage to the 70s add to the Contessa wardrobe; pieces like pleated crepe jumpsuits, all white draped suiting and sophisticated organza sorbet-toned ensembles. Sheer headscarves and shawls are here to set the holiday mood when worn over printed jacquard suits and Tangerine Chiffon embellished must-haves.

It’s when the sun sets that femininity is at its peak with an embroidered, Deep Red robe and Dark Metallic Gold dress with a diamond encrusted belt. A regal-like portrait pictures a silk Moire Magenta infinite gown: the overall effect is undeniably alluring.

2019 CFDA Fashion Awards Honors Barbie with Board of Directors’ Tribute Award

2019 CFDA Fashion Awards Honors Barbie with Board of Directors’ Tribute Award

C‘mon Barbie, let’s go party! It truly is a party to Barbie for a double celebration; as CFDA Fashion Awards honoree of Board of Directors’ Special Tribute Award on June 3, and she also turned 60 on March 9 this year.

For 60 years, Barbie has been empowering females of any age around the world with her upbeat personality and positive outlook in life. She inspires fashion designers, artists, and continuously challenging the creative community to conquer, yet, another incredible idea or story.

2019 CFDA Fashion Awards Honors Barbie with Board of Directors’ Tribute Award

[portfolio_slideshow id=80806 align=center width=699 click=advance thumbnailsize=40 showcaps=false]
Photos: Mattel, Inc.

Not only that Barbie is into fashion, but she’s also into music. We all know the phrase, “Music Heals,” Barbie is fantastic in that department, as well. One of the most played inspirational songs is “What if I Shine” from Rock ‘n Royals soundtrack. Danish-Norwegian bubble-gum pop music group, Aqua, shined when they hit multi-platinum crossover in their single “Barbie Girl” in 1997.

Throughout Barbie’s fashion journey, she is loved by many influential designers, personalities and brands such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Céline, Christian Dior, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Monique Lhuillier, Givenchy, and Moschino’s Jeremy Scott, Tommy X barbie doll Gigi Hadid and barbie doll of the late Karl Lagerfeld – are some of the brands who had famously collaborated with her.

For this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards, it is historical and one for the books. First, one of Mattel’s key collaborators, Bob Mackie, is also awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. Mackie began the Designer Collector series for Mattel in 1990 and created more than 45 Barbie Collector Dolls; and second, Barbie is the first ever nonliving awardee to receive such a great honor. Steven Kolb, President, and CEO of the CFDA state, “Barbie has had such wide influence on American fashion and culture. Her story personally resonates with so many CFDA members that the Board of Directors decided to honor her with the special tribute.”

Yes, Barbie has many things to celebrate this year.

She might be a doll but is powerful and can surely inspire individuals. Ruth Handler, the co-founder of Mattel, envisioned to create a 3-D doll for girls to play out their dreams. The idea sparked when she was observing her daughter Barbara playing with paper dolls for hours. In 1959, the first Barbie doll-named after Ruth’s daughter made its debut at New York Toy Fair.

Exclusive Interview with Mattel Spokesperson

Q: Happy 60th anniversary and congratulations on receiving the CFDA Board of Director’s Special Tribute! What’s your inspiration for continuously inspiring the world, especially the creative community and the fashion industry?

Since 1959, our mission has been to inspire the limitless potential in every kid who plays with the brand. In bringing this to life, the brand has inspired and been inspired by creatives around the globe for over 60 years. Barbie is a blank canvas for play, encouraging imagination, expression, and discovery for children, and we’ve seen the same pattern across all ages as Barbie has become a cultural icon and reflection of society.

Q: You have collaborated with over 75 designers and influencers, and the latest was with Jeremy Scott of Moschino for Kacey Musgraves ” Camp” look at the 2019 Met Gala. As a true fashion icon, can you give us a piece of advice on how to achieve that timeless style?

For over 60 years, Barbie has been a reflection of culture and fashion, making the brand both timely and timeless. For Barbie, timeless style means continuing to push the boundaries of what it means to be Barbie or look like Barbie and to showcase a diverse view of beauty.

Richard James Savile Row and Swarovski Install Elton John Archive Display To Celebrate The Release Of ‘Rocketman’

Represented by Lawlor Media Group.

To celebrate the upcoming musical fantasy ROCKETMAN, Opening May 31, in the U.S., contemporary Savile Row tailor Richard James and Swarovski have co-curated in-store displays— in both London and New York—complete with original outfits from Elton John’s legendary career.

A long-time friend of the Richard James brand, Elton John gave access to his personal archive to facilitate the loan of a few key Richard James outfits including his “Dot” suits and a crystal tailcoat worn during his Las Vegas residency. These showcase Richard James’s exquisite craftsmanship and are injected with a sense of humor reflecting John’s charismatic personality.

Elton John Archive Display

Highlights in the display include:
  • Bespoke Swarovski-crystal trimmed tailcoats that were part of Elton John’s glittering wardrobe for his ‘The Million Dollar Piano’ residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which ran from 2011 to 2018.
  • The ‘Dot’ collection, comprising of matching 2-piece suits and shirts. Sir Elton John wore the pink/yellow dots look for his 2001 Grammy Awards performance with US rapper Eminem as well as for a ‘Got Milk’ advert by the American dairy industry the same year.

Three signature looks will be on display at the RICHARD JAMES SAVILE ROW store on Park Avenue through June 07, 2019.

To celebrate the display, Richard James have created a limited run of 8 t-shirts, all featuring a Swarovski crystal rocket emblem. The t-shirts will retail at $260.00 and will be available in-store and online.

“I remember the first time I met Richard. I’d popped into the Joseph men’s shop and was bowled over by the most striking sunflower ties. I flipped them over to see the eponymous label: ‘Richard James Savile Row’. Savile Row?! I hadn’t seen anything this fresh in years. Naturally, I got the address and headed there immediately”.

—Elton John

“Elton has great individual style and he’s never been afraid to express himself, so he represents a lot of what Richard James is all about. He’s been an incredibly supportive friend and a customer since we opened our first store in 1992 and Richard James wouldn’t be what it is today without him. As I hope this small tribute demonstrates, it’s always an honour and a pleasure to dress him.”

—Sean Dixon, Founder & Managing Director, Richard James

“We are thrilled to co-curate this inspirational fashion showcase, which celebrates our long history of collaboration with Elton John and our partnership with costume designer Julian Day on the costumes for Rocketman. Our crystals have been adding signature sparkle to Elton’s wardrobe for decades, and it is a pleasure to see them shining in Richard James’s fine Savile Row setting.”

—Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Swarovski Executive Board

Wow Khoman Talks Khoman Room’s Third Collection

0

Khoman Room is a contemporary streetwear brand based in NYC. The company was founded by Wow Khoman in the summer of 2016. The initial goal was to offer a different and more expressive range of menswear that also suited their practical needs and modern lifestyle. We wanted to go beyond the basics and uniformity of current streetwear, putting Art and Design at the forefront of what we do. Each collection features an artist whose work is translated into fashion, giving us our unique style and collaborative voice. Now we offer a full selection including tees, hoodies, jeans, joggers, blazers for men and women.

Designer Wow Khoman says:

“This third collection marks a significant step forward for Khoman Room. We expanded our line beyond streetwear staples, including contemporary pieces and adding more sizes to accommodate women as well. But more excitingly, we debuted the collection during NYFW with our very first runway show.

“Our initial inspiration took a metaphysical look at how the influence of hip-hop has become the foundation for a whole generation. NYC plays a leading role, acting as a landscape in which ideas, people, things come and go, whirling together with electric frenzy.

Khoman Room

“We collaborated with painter Ho Jae Kim, who created illustrations for us based on an eclectic amalgamation of various tropes from American culture. With unexpected twists, influenced by youth culture and humor, the artwork evokes the chaos of life in NYC, while simultaneously finding a sense of acceptance and reconciliation.”

Chanel Cruise Collection 2019-20

Chanel Cruise Collection 2019-20

This season, CHANEL invites guests on an imaginary journey. The Nave of the Grand Palais has been transformed into a Parisian train station in the Beaux-Arts style, complete with platforms and an elegant café-restaurant Le Riviera. Virginie Viard, the creative mind behind this beautiful adventure, writes a travel story untouched by time, as the whistle blows to signal one’s departure to a joyful, sunny climate. CHANEL style and allure embrace the theme of a silhouette in motion, strong yet subtly delicate.

Virginie Viard writes a travel story untouched by time

Alongside iconic black, ecru and white, a brilliant palette of pink, green, blue, fuchsia, mauve and sky contrasts with deep bistre, mocha browns, cobalt blues and navy. Pastel hues blend with one another, as foliage printed on a blue or fuchsia background is seemingly caught in mid-air, like a landscape blurred by the speed of a train. Pink and blue sequins fall into line, accumulating like the holes punched into tickets. Embroidered flowers—sequined or cut from silk, tulle and rhodoid—compose a garden, at the heart of which the camellia majestically blossoms.

Chanel

[portfolio_slideshow id=80222 align=center width=699 click=advance thumbnailsize=40 showcaps=false]

The characteristic style of CHANEL guides each design in the new Cruise collection: comfort and functionality, simplicity and elegance … to come and go in, travel and live in and be oneself in without hindrance. Jackets and wide trousers with double buttons in gabardine or waxed cotton draw inspiration from workmen’s uniforms. Hooded trench coats or amply cut coats gathered at the waist are given the occasional feminine touch of a chain belt and cotton blouse with a large flounced jabot. A modernity accentuated by pointed pumps, two-tone booties with small cone-shaped heels and ballerina flats in tweed.

The iconic CHANEL tweed jacket, which liberates movement as much as the allure, imposes a timeless style: with two, four or six pockets, with or without a collar, short or long, single or double breasted with draped panels, trimmed in braid, belted with a chain interlaced with leather to accentuate the waist or offer a straighter line, with shoulders that are soft and rounded or, on the contrary, sharp and squared. Exuding CHANEL savoir-faire down to the smallest detail, the jacket hides a silk interior that extends the pattern of woven tweed in perfect continuity. The edge-to-edge flush lining is veiled in chiffon at the collar and cuffs, or appliqued with buttons that grow as the pockets broaden; an embroidered handkerchief sporadically escapes. The emblematic chain appears at the bottom of the jacket lining—the ultimate touch of CHANEL refinement.

Beneath the jackets lie chiffon vests embroidered with flowers, poplin bandeau tops fastened with a bow over the chest, or bustiers covered in shimmering sequins and sparkling flowers. Alternating with jersey leggings, the mini-skirts, trapeze skirts and elongated knickerbockers are fashioned in tweed for a new version of the iconic CHANEL suit. Coupled with trousers in leather or hessian, tweed also appears on tops embellished with sequins or enhanced with a wide ruffled organdie collar.

The dresses are designed with the sophisticated simplicity of a brushstroke. Pure lines liberate the body, evoking imperceptible volume and exquisite femininity highlighted by bias cuts, asymmetrical shoulders, wraparound panels, ethereal flounces and plunging necklaces. Braids and bows in satin, white camellias worn as brooches, ladder lace arranged like train tracks, ornate finishes reminiscent of bygone lines and removable Bertha organdie collars all reinforce the charm.

Joyful frivolity takes form with ruffled skirts in check-printed chiffon and strappy dresses in fuchsia or blue chiffon with plant motifs. Gathered and ironed by hand, diaphanous panels seem ready to float in the breeze when descending from the train. An innocent grace radiates from the asymmetrical dresses in linen and organdie, while the same softness diffuses over the long dresses in black broderie anglaise.

For evening, black and white aprons become sheath dresses with removable shirt collars, hemmed with the CHANEL chain or embroidered with flowers. Worn open over a bandeau with a big bow, the crispness of a man’s shirt with a pleated plastron is softened by transparent organdie fabric. Styled with wide-cut hessian trousers, a masculine shirt in poplin is transformed into a backless top, ruffled with a smocked high waist. The expected bow tie is replaced with a knotted satin ribbon adorned with a camellia. A black linen sheath dress is embroidered with sequins that capture the colors of the night and moon’s reflection in the train windows, while another is swathed in bouquets of pink sequined flowers.

Continuing this romantic journey, Virginie Viard imagines a long dress in white lace embellished with golden thread, and another design in midnight blue lace with a low neckline revealing a large black satin bow. The Artistic Director tenderly deconstructs the mechanisms of train station clocks … the dials are multiplied to infinity in the navy-blue guipure lace of a long dress, while the deconstructed hands and indices are embroidered onto the neckline of a dress in white lace.

Inseparable from the elegance of CHANEL, jewelry is added to silhouettes for both day and night: metal hoop and pendant earrings are set with strass, bracelets are adorned with colored cabochons and cuff bracelets are beaded, set with chains and leather or featured in resin and stones. Metal travel flasks are mischievously slipped into quilted leather cases with a chain strap. The 11.12 bags adopt a patent quilted leather with floral-embroidered tweed, or are equipped with a handle. The CHANEL 19 bag comes in quilted jersey, and the CHANEL 31 bag returns in faded denim. The travel bags—overnight bags in denim or leather, a maxi duffle bag with pockets, a “3-part” backpack, hip packs in tri-color leather and multifunctional clutches—all ensure transportation with ease. An extremely refined cushion clutch in white cotton is embroidered with clocks, while the railroader’s lamp becomes a minaudière in rhinestoned resin.

With this collection, Virginie Viard continues the story of CHANEL and travel by delivering her own fresh, delicate vision. Following the tradition of Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, she shapes a look of sophistication built on the purity and exactitude of every detail.
