AsianInNY 10th Anniversary Fashion Show will be on Sat 9/22/2018 from 2pm~4pm (door opens at 2pm) at TF Chen Art Building (335 West, 35th St, New York) featuring top Asian fashion designers, brands and models. This is the largest Asian fashion runway show in New York. Come join us!
Tickets are limited for $32 per person in advance before Sep 20th online, $50 on site.

Jessica was born in Taipei and moved to NYC in 1994. After 3 years of studying pre-med chemistry at Baylor University, Texas, Jessica Chen found her true calling and graduated from F.I.T. with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. She started her fashion career with internships at Geoffrey Beene, Carolina Herrera and apprenticed with industry legend Ms. Pauline Trigere. Her experiences included as Head Designer for luxury outerwear brand “Andrew Marc” with designs sold in all major US department stores from Saks Fifth Ave, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s to Nordstrom’s. She was also Leather Design Director at S. Rothschild designing for licensee labels include Ralph Lauren, Elie Tahari, DKNY, Zac Posen and Victoria’s Secret among them. She is currently the Design and Marketing Director for luxury Italian handbag brand: “FVCINA”. Jessica has created a collection named Atelier 1901 for the modern day woman on the go: edgy yet feminine, luxurious fabrics with refined palettes, sculptured tailoring details yet easy to wear. Most garments are designed from upcycling materials to reduce the waste generated within the fashion industry to promote positive impact on earth. Jessica’s fashion show is featuring PeiJu Chien-Pott: renowned dancer and choreographer from Taiwan as her collection is inspired by PeiJu’s performance for the “Rebirth” sculptures by Kang Muxiang in the NYC garment district.
Pai Cheng Cheng
Pai Cheng Cheng was born in Taipei Taiwan. After 4 years of studying Fashion Design in Shih Chien University, Pai Cheng received his Fashion Design Master Degree from Istituto Marangoni Milano. Pai Cheng established his brand “CHENG PAI CHENG” in October 2014 in Taiwan. Pai Cheng always tries to mix his Italy education background and experience as well as his fun personality into the outfit he creates: bright colors and digital printing are main features of the brand. Because of his unique color and print design, CHENG PAI CHENG design has dressed and collaborated with numerous famous artists and singers. Pai Cheng’s collections have been reported by all major media outlets in Asia.
Joe Chan is from Taiwan and studied in Paris from 2010. He finished his study in ECOLE DE LA CHAMBRE SYNDICALE DE LA HAUTE COUTURE PARISIENNE and has interned in RICK OWENS showroom, AMERICAN RETRO and French womenswear label KOCHÉ, later also worked as an assistant designer in KOCHÉ till end of 2015. After his more than 5 years life time in Paris, he decided to return to Taipei and started his own menswear label TSUNG YU CHAN in 2016. Harper’s BAZAAR 150 Years The Greatest Moments also invited Joe to create a special limited version t-shirts in 2017. Joe strives to bring his creativity and design from Europe back to Taiwan to combine with Taiwanese traditional techniques to create a modern style yet wearable high-end menswear.
Chelsea graduated in 2011 from Chung Ang University in Film Studies, and concurrently pursued a master’s degree in international studies while opening and managing her own studio in Seoul and NYC. Before opening her studio, Chelsea had already received accolades in a variety of creative endeavors. She published a short film called “necklace” in 2008, and later a longer short film called “still in love with you”. “still in love with you” was shown to great acclaim in the 2011 Busan International Film Festival. She gained broad experience and commercial knowledge working for global fashion brand H&M as an entry level stylist and designer in Tokyo, and worked on Forever 21’s illustration design team in New York City. She has also provided design assistance for Dolce & Gabbana as a Fashion Intern. In 2013, her career and global recognition soared upon winning the 2013 Asia’s Most Valuable Fashion Designer award in London, and in 2014 the designation Wedding Dress Designer of the Year. Her dresses have been worn by many of Asia’s top tastemakers and socialites.
Alexandra Peng Charton
Born in Taiwan and raised at the foothills of Argentinean Andes, Alexandra Peng has been designing eyewear for over two decades. While still pursuing Comparative Literature major at UC Berkey, she was hired as an interpreter at MIDO, the world’s largest eyewear fashion show in Milan, and thus ignited her passion in eyewear design. During her 16 years in the European optical scene, Alexandra was the creative mind behind numerous eyewear collections of global brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Missoni, Moschino, Gianfranco Ferre, to name a few. In 2009, she launched TC CHARTON Asian Fit Eyewear in San Francisco Bay Area. TC CHARTON is the only North American designer eyewear brand that focuses solely on making distinctive and luxury glasses for beautiful faces with Asian features.
