“Metanoia: The Crowned Mind” is the theme for this year’s event to further highlight the creative vision of positive transformation through the shifting of mental and physical states by incorporating elements of fashion and art as a vehicle for conversation. This engaging yet entertaining event also coincides with the rebirth and launch of the founder’s brand “Eido Swimwear” to the more mature and luxurious “I Am Eido” brand.
This one-of-a-kind show will be on Saturday, July 16 at the Kimpton Angler’s, bringing together the swim/resort/athleisure fashion and wellness communities together in a rooftop oasis that enables supporters, buyers, vendors, fashion enthusiasts and the press to engage in an immersive Miami Swim week experience like no other.
This year’s host is Brazilian Model, Actress, Philanthropist, and Entrepreneur Karmel Bortoleti. Honorees include Victoria Vesce, a Sports Illustrated Swim Finalist who is also a Brain Tumor Survivor; Jennifer Soberal, a Tech Innovator and a Social Entrepreneur; Gloria Ward, a Business Strategist and an Author; Renee “Stichiz” Casseus a Philanthropist and an iHeart Radio Host
For the past five years, The Wonder Woman Initiative has been curating intimate, special events and fashion shows highlighting survivors of domestic violence, trauma, and honoring women who have overcome the odds and are lending their gifts and services to their communities. Founded by Tayo Ishola, a Miami-based Social Entrepreneur and Fashion Designer of the Eido Swimwear brand, the overarching vision of the initiative is to empower others to see the beauty and power within themselves.
