L’Wren Scott is the 6’3 fashion designer who counts Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama as her clients. She’s also a bit of a technological avant-gardist.
Now her star continues to rise, with a new limited-edition collection to debut Dec. 5 at select Banana Republic stores and on BananaRepublic.com.
L’Wren’s limited-edition Banana Republic collection will debut on the Banana Republic website on Dec. 5.
(According to the LA Times, the collection will span 50 pieces, with both apparel and accessories, and include skinny jeans, sequined elements, tailored jackets, pajamas and even a cashmere blanket.) You can expect to see her signature touches, which include velvet, brocade, faux fur and playful prints.

WHAT WE LOVE:
Clean look; hi-res graphics; easy-to-understand navigation. We love the ability to quickly locate nearby stores carrying L’Wren Scott with the “Stockist” feature. (Being a bit fragrance-obsessed, we’ve already planned an outing to Barney’s to try her Eau De Parfum.)

WHAT WE’D LOVE TO SEE MORE OF:
Occasional captions to bring us in deeper. Our favorite “Moments & Inspiration” picture is of a sheriff’s car in Mississippi.
Certain members of our staff hail from New Orleans (although we’ve lived in Los Angeles for some time), so you might say we love anything to do with the blues, barbecue or anyplace where alligator may be served. With apologies to our vegan friends.
L’Wren Scott is good. L’App is good. L’App will make you L’Happy.
(It’s okay; we can’t believe we said that, either.)
