Harlem Fashion Week is an explosion of culture that will bridges the Downtown fashion hub to the Uptown vibe for a rich community experience. Our continuous goal is to produce an event that will showcase the fashion industry, provide business education for emerging designers, grow Harlem businesses, create a cultural platform and just have fun. The creators of Harlem Fashion Week is the dynamic mother-daughter team of Tandra Birkett and Yvonne Jewnell, owners of the fashion design company Yvonne Jewnell New York LLC.
This season HFW will feature Kyemah McEntyre, “the girl who broke the internet” Kye will be showcasing her Very First collection for NYFW at the Harlem Fashion Week Runway Show on February 12, 2017 at the 9:30PM Show at the Museum of the City of New York.
A portion of the proceeds from HFW will go to the restoration project of La Maison des Esclaves- The House of Slaves Museum on Goree Island in Senegal.
