Susan Alexandra S/S20 Presentation at Public Hotel

Susan Alexandra S/S20 Presentation at Public Hotel

Susan Alexandra presented its Spring/Summer 2020 Collection, in a bright, colorful, over-the-top bat-mitzvah themed presentation at PUBLIC in New York City. Models, including drag queen Steak Diane, performer Cat Cohen, and comedian Benjamin Skinner a.k.a “Bennydrama” all gathered to showcase the first ever Ready-to-Wear collection by Susan Alexandra.

The lineup included beaded bustier tops, pedal pushers, and frocks of all colors embellished with Alexandra’s beaded fruit motifs – topped off with her signature bags as headbands wrapped around each auburn-wigged head. At the party, Models lifted up a sitting Alexandra as they danced the Hora, where the mark of her coming of age was finally solidified – as a full blown clothing designer. The presentation was the glittery, frilly, baby pink dream of any 13 year old girl, but just as appealing to everyone else.

ABOUT PUBLIC

PUBLIC’s fundamental premise is LUXURY FOR ALL. It is built on four key pillars: service, style, unique experience and value. However, it’s not luxury as we traditionally know it, but luxury reflecting a new definition. Luxury is no longer about things or how much something costs. It is not a business classification, a price point or based on scarcity. Luxury is now about experiences and how something makes you feel. Luxury is being democratized and is now for everyone. The 3 bars, Diego, The Roof and Lobby Bar each have their own unique vibe and personality so depending on the time, you might end up hitting all three on the same night or just one, depending on your mood. Lushly landscaped gardens, multiple communal workspaces, and private event rooms, both indoor and outdoor atop the building with jaw-dropping 360-degree unobstructed views of the city, the spaces provide the ultimate in socializing, entertaining, working and even just people watching. www.publichotels.com
