Power, Passion, and Reinvention: The Story Behind RIJOUX

At the heart of RIJOUX and RIJOUX Gems is a story of resilience, reinvention, and a shared passion for beauty in all its forms. Founded by Moshe Silberberg—a seasoned entrepreneur with deep roots in the diamond and fashion industries—and his partner Jaime Nicole, a rising beauty expert and hairstylist, the brand reflects a union of creativity, courage, and vision.

Moshe began his journey with boutique stores in Panama, Belgium, Israel, where he built a loyal clientele drawn to his refined taste in fashion and fine jewelry. In Israel, he had stores in the Intercontinental and Hilton which are one of the top rated hotels in Tel Aviv. However, the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine brought a sharp decline in tourism and foot traffic, devastating the local retail scene. Like many entrepreneurs, Moshe was forced to close his businesses, leave everything behind, and start anew. He chose New York City as the next chapter—rebuilding his brand from the ground up and start his first store.

RIJOUX

Today, RIJOUX and RIJOUX Gems are thriving. Known for curated designer fashion and bespoke, one-of-a-kind jewelry, the brands have carved out a niche in quiet luxury. With boutiques in five-star hotels and a growing international following, Moshe has reestablished his presence with even greater strength.

Alongside him is Jaime Nicole, whose love for hair started in childhood—braiding Barbie dolls and styling fellow campers in exchange for first shower privileges. With encouragement from her best friend, she left college to enroll in beauty school, eventually building a business from scratch through referrals and influencer collaborations. Over the last five years, her online exposure allowed her to go fully independent, cultivating a packed client list and a respected name in beauty.

To Jaime, hair and fashion are inseparable: “A look isn’t complete without the hair—it brings the whole vision to life.” That philosophy aligns perfectly with RIJOUX’s mission, where style is holistic and personal.

Together, Moshe and Jaime have built more than a brand—they’ve created a lifestyle. From scouting talent at New Zealand Fashion Week to curating Spotify playlists for their boutiques, their creative influence spans fashion, beauty, music, and emotion. Through hardship, displacement, and reinvention, RIJOUX stands as a testament to the power of passion, partnership, and starting over—beautifully.
