Mossi Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week

Known for his avant-garde and inclusive approach, Mossi Traoré, founder and artistic director of the brand, continues to reinvent fashion codes by combining sophisticated design with expert craftsmanship.

While wearing couture of excellence is often seen as an inaccessible luxury, reserved for runways and prestigious events, MOSSI challenges these preconceptions by offering a unique approach, integrating couture into everyday life.

The SS25 collection is distinguished by fluid architectural silhouettes, generous volumes, and subtle details that reinterpret contemporary wardrobe classics. Drawing inspiration from the works of Simone Pheulpin and Madame Grès, MOSSI adopts the codes of these iconic figures to create a wardrobe that is both poetic and structured, blending artisanal craftsmanship with timeless elegance.

One of the key elements of this collection is the introduction of blue, a symbol of hope and new energy for the brand, marking its return to fashion and couture. This blue, the emblem of “En mode Mossi,” conveys a message of willpower and determination.

The fabrics have been carefully selected for their drape and suppleness. Cool wool is sculpted into light volumes, while fluid jersey gracefully embraces the body. A subtle contrast is introduced through the use of pink and blue checkered cotton fabrics, symbolizing a balance between Indian tradition and modernity.

MOSSI also explores rare and luxurious materials, such as fluid Japanese denim, adding a touch of sophisticated casualness to this refined collection. Japanese crêpe, on the other hand, gives the pieces a rich texture, playing with light and movement.

This SS25 collection reflects a mastery of fabrics and cuts, all while adhering to an artistic and committed vision. MOSSI celebrates the beauty of details and the dialogue between heritage and innovation, while offering a modern interpretation of the legacy of Parisian couture.
