TRIPLEROOT made a stunning impression at GFC x Milan, captivating fashion elites with its harmonious blend of classic elegance and daring contemporary artistry.
This Korean contemporary women’s clothing brand, known for its relentless pursuit of the perfect fit, sensual designs, and quality fabrics, presented its SS25 collection to global acclaim. Under the theme “Contemporary Romantic Classic,” designer Lee Ji-sun sought to interpret the essence of classic nobility in a modern context, expressing the gentle and restrained beauty intrinsic to TRIPLEROOT. The runway featured a striking collaboration with renowned artist Yun SongA, who brought the collection to life through live painting directly on the models’ clothing, transforming the show into an immersive artistic experience. This collaboration infused the collection with a unique blend of irregular elements that exude calmness while avoiding monotony, instilling joy and vibrancy into each garment. The collection artfully juxtaposed minimalist sophistication with bold, abstract prints, offering a fresh perspective for the modern individual. Each piece transcended mere clothing, serving as a powerful statement of artistry and empowerment, reflecting the brand’s innovative design and the celebration of individuality.

SAGABOI made an electrifying entrance at GFC x Milan, astounding the audience with its vibrant homage to Caribbean culture and style. As Creative Director of the brand and a prominent figure in fashion and culture, Cooper’s philosophy, “Be the type of energy that when you enter a space, love and joy enters” shines through every aspect of this collection. Originally founded as a magazine in 2015, Sagaboi evolved into a powerful men’s apparel brand, deeply rooted in the Caribbean subculture known as “saga boy,” which emerged in the 1930s as a bold statement of masculine rebellion through fashion, and now dresses the girls too. The collection epitomizes Caribbean ease and exuberance, blending resort wear with a streetwear yet elevated edge. Bright, lively colours, dynamic patterns, and a variety of textiles reflect the spirit of the islands, infusing each piece with a sense of joy and energy. Cooper draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of his culture—its history, people, and global influences—creating garments that honour this vibrant legacy with pride.

Noé Bernacelli’s collection made a bold mark in Milan, drawing the audience in with his masterful blend of artistry and high fashion. Bernacelli, who has nurtured a passion for art from a young age through painting, sculpture, and photography has led to Milan, where he honed his craft in Fashion Design, marking a significant milestone and full-circle moment in his journey as a designer, The collection is a testament to Bernacelli’s unwavering dedication and artistic vision. His eponymous label has become synonymous with haute couture excellence in Peru, celebrated for its intricate craftsmanship and innovative designs. The brand beautifully blended brights with deep colours, intricate lace with hints of florals, and accessorized each look to perfection with knee-high boots, headscarves, and statement hats. The designs radiated sophistication, bold style and elegance, capturing the essence of contemporary fashion while paying homage to Bernacelli’s rich artistic background. This runway presentation not only highlighted his extraordinary talent but also positioned him as a key player within the global fashion narrative.

At Global Fashion Collective in Milan, Tess Mann Atelier unveiled an enchanting, sophisticated collection that captivated attendees with its refined blend of elegance and contemporary artistry. Known for her stunning bridal creations, Tess Mann boldly expands her repertoire to include evening and formal wear. The collection features gracefully draping fabrics adorned with distinctive architectural details, showcasing Mann’s unwavering dedication to meticulous craftsmanship and creative innovation. Lenifro x Fab Morvan’s collection “Milli Vanilli Homage,” made a striking impression at GFC x Milan with its bold celebration of colour and inclusivity. This dynamic collection is a tribute to diversity, featuring eclectic prints and dynamic silhouettes that reflect a playful retro spirit. Each piece told a story, intertwining expressive designs with a commitment to sustainability, as the garments are crafted from recycled polyester sourced from plastic bottles. Lenifro’s latest offerings stand out for their innovative use of volume and texture, inviting wearers to embrace individuality and self-expression. The collection was striking with its daring use of colours, structures, and asymmetry. As models graced the runway, “Milli Vanilli Homage” not only showcased the artistry of contemporary fashion but also underscored the importance of creating inclusive, statement-making clothing for everyone. This presentation marks a vibrant chapter in the evolution of Lenifro, highlighting its dedication to bold design and meaningful narratives in the fashion industry. Designed by Lenifro in collaboration with Milli Vanilli’s only surviving member, Fab Morvan, the collection demonstrated a true fusion of creativity and legacy. The showcase was closed by a surprise appearance by Fab, who joined the runway giving a live performance of Milli Vanilli’s super-hit ‘Girl You Know It’s True’, leaving the audience in raptures.

The collection featured exquisite dresses entirely made from repurposed kimonos, underscoring her commitment to sustainability by utilizing luxurious silk kimonos and obi belts—once highly valued materials now more accessible in the secondhand market. Inspired by the fluidity of waves depicted in Japanese ukiyo-e landscape paintings, the collection showcased a rich array of prints and delicate lace that embody the motion and grace of water. By focusing on online orders via e-commerce sites, the designer ensures a commitment to sustainability by avoiding excess inventory, reflecting a conscientious approach to and beyond fashion. The collection emphasizes impeccable silhouette balance and a sincere engagement with each garment, allowing for a sense of comfort without compromising on style. Each piece is meticulously crafted to embody elegance and beauty, inviting wearers to connect with the artistry behind their clothing. The runway was filled with a mix of bright colours and neutrals, soft silhouettes, and a modern feminine essence.
