Mossi Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 Paris Fashion Week — The Fashion Industry Files a Complaint Against Mossi Traoré

For the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, MOSSI presents a runway show with a singular format, hosted in an institutional and historic venue, the Court of Appeal of Paris.

Within this solemn setting, the brand has conceived an unprecedented format designed as a true immersive experience. More than a fashion show, it is a staging where fashion meets the institution, and where personal narrative becomes material for creation.

Through this presentation, Mossi Traoré, founder of the brand, highlights his journey in an unexpected way. The show unfolds as a symbolic trial where creativity, personal history, and a critical perspective on fashion intersect.

Mossi

The scenography faithfully reproduces the configuration of a real courtroom, including a judge, prosecutor, lawyer, clerk, and the formal structure of a hearing. The interventions, statements, and sequence follow the structure of a trial, while maintaining a deliberately light and irreverent tone. Fashion experts and journalists complete the setting, taking part in the debate as witnesses called to the stand.

The hearing has been public.
Testimonies have been heard.
The charges have been read.
And the defendant has been judged.

Within this judicial theatre, each appearance and each silhouette illustrates the arguments of both the prosecution and the defense, making the collection itself the heart of the debate. Fashion becomes the subject, the language, and the evidence.

The collection draws directly from the wardrobe of the judiciary, including judges’ robes and the silhouettes of lawyers and prosecutors, reinterpreted through MOSSI’s lens. Structured volumes dialogue with the house’s signature pleating, while certain sculptural forms evoke the work of South Korean artist Lee Bul.
