Golden Goose Celebrates Paris with “We Will Always Be Those Kids” Performance During Fashion Week

An Evening of Fashion, Music, Community, and Culture

Golden Goose returned to Paris for the second year during Fashion Week with the highly anticipated We Will Always Be Those Kids event. Building on the success of last year’s HAUS of Dreamers Paris, the brand once again celebrated its core values of community, creativity, and freedom of expression.

The evening took place at the iconic Élysée Montmartre, nestled between Pigalle and Montmartre. Inaugurated as a ballroom in 1807, the venue is renowned as the birthplace of the Can-Can and has hosted legendary artists like David Bowie and Daft Punk. Today, it remains a vibrant symbol of Parisian culture, hosting concerts and festivals with its timeless theatrical atmosphere.

The night commenced with a captivating performance that blended theater with fashion. The narrative followed a young dreamer navigating the highs and lows of growing up and delivered a universal message: no matter how old you are, you always remain one of “those kids” as long as you keep on dreaming. The production artfully blurred the line between reality and fantasy, embodying the brand’s ethos of boundless creativity and youthful spirit.

During the performance, Golden Goose unveiled its SS25 Journey Collection, with actors showcasing standout pieces, including the much-anticipated Forty2 sneaker. The Forty2 reimagines 90s style for modern dreamers. Inspired by American basketball’s golden age, its chunky design speaks to timeless fashion, handcrafted by Golden Goose artisans. The sneaker features a double box-like sole with a deconstructed, three-colored polyurethane structure. The upper blends calf leather and micro-perforated fabric for a unique tactile experience, complemented by three-dimensional textures on the star and heel tab.

The evening continued with an exclusive afterparty featuring an international lineup of DJs, including The Blaze, Boombass (Cassius), and Nathalie Duchene. Celebrities such as Global Brand Ambassador Jackson Yee, models Stella Maxwell, Joan Smalls, Lucky Blue Smith and Lauren Wasser, actors Cole Sprouse, Peyton List, Inanna Sarkis and Disha Patani, musicians Kid Cudi, Justine Skye, Girl in Red and Kanika Kapoor, Influencers Mary Leest, Kristy Scott and Xenia Adonts, and many others joined the celebration.

On this occasion, the brand released a special limited edition of the Forty2 sneaker, featuring a white base with grey details, a distinct lived-in look, and precious Swarovski crystals laces.

The Forty2 is also available in white with various heel tab and star color combinations, including pink, black, and grey. All variations are now available at www.goldengoose.com and select stores worldwide.
