For the first time, the slow-fashion label W1P Studios from Berlin showed their most recent collection during Berlin Fashion Week.
The collection, made by the designer duo Anaëlle Delassus and Charlotte Westphal, puts a spotlight on the symbiosis of fashion, art, and sustainability. To achieve that, W1P Studios worked together with the rising artist Seonah Chae and the Berliner Textilhafen.
Together with the Textilhafen, W1P Studios collected secondhand materials and deadstock materials in all-white and out of natural fibers. Using only this source, W1P Studios created a whole new collection out of these otherwise discarded materials. They are the canvas for something completely new.

W1P Studios’ Signature Style
As in the W1P Studios’ previous collections, the signature style of the two designers is clearly recognisable in CANVAS. Organic shapes, clear lines, long ribbons and a certain lightness in the designs can be rediscovered in the new creations.
However, particularly striking about this collection is that W1P Studios breaks away from its usual soft colour palettes. Moreover, the designs are all made from pure white materials. The colour accents are only set by Seonah Chae’s work — creating a new symbiosis.
About W1P Studios
Female-founded in 2022, W1P Studios focuses on three very important values: sustainability, diversity and inclusion. Especially, sustainability dominates the way the brand works. W1P Studios uses carefully selected materials that are mostly deadstock in combination with the upcycled materials of second hand clothes. In case new materials need to be bought, W1P pays special attention to the fibers, the source of the material as well as how it was produced. Another focus of the brand is knitwear, as it offers the opportunity to reduce the material waste to a minimum, which is also an overall goal of the brand. All the final products are manufactured in the Berlin-Mitte Studio with a lot of care and love. While working with this sensibility towards the product and the material, the brand takes inspiration for their collections from topics that are currently moving society.
