A Vibrant Showcase of Flying Solo at Miami Swim and Resort Week

Miami Swim and Resort Week this year was a spectacular celebration of creativity, sustainability, and diversity. Organized by Flying Solo, the shows featured over 40 emerging brands, each bringing their unique flair to the runway. The shows were held at the stunning Perez Art Museum Miami, adding an artistic and sophisticated backdrop to the event.

Sustainability was a key theme, with many brands showcasing eco-friendly designs. It was inspiring to see so many collections that are not only beautiful but also kind to our planet. This commitment to sustainability is something we are very proud of, as it aligns with our values of supporting ethical fashion.

The runway was awash with color. Pastel tones were a standout, adding a soft and dreamy vibe to the show. From pale pinks to gentle blues and mint greens, these colors brought a fresh, light feeling that perfectly suited the summer season. But it wasn’t just pastels that caught the eye. Bold and vibrant colors also made a splash, making the collections lively and exciting.

A key figure behind the scenes was Alina Kotsiuba, the creative director of the show. Alina collaborated with different designers and meticulously built up the looks, ensuring each collection was presented in the best possible way.

Another highlight of the show was the diversity of the models. Flying Solo believes fashion should be inclusive and represent all kinds of beauty. The runway featured models of different sizes, ethnicities, and backgrounds, reflecting the true diversity of our society. This inclusivity added a rich, authentic dimension to the show, making it more relatable and inspiring for everyone.

The stunning photography capturing these moments was done by @tonychuvani and @ac_photography_chicago, who perfectly encapsulated the energy and essence of the show.

Miami Swimand Resort Week show was a testament to the talent and innovation of emerging designers. It was a celebration of sustainable fashion, vibrant colors, and the beautiful diversity of models.

Special thanks to Semper Laser, Boxed Water and Wyld Ki for sponsoring this event.
