Tamiko Jewellery hosted an exclusive private presentation in Paris, just steps away from the iconic Hôtel Vendôme, unveiling its latest collection to a select audience of editors, buyers, and industry insiders during Haute Couture week.
Designed by Tamiko Suzuki, the new collection draws inspiration from Ikebana, the centuries-old Japanese art of flower arrangement. Rather than referencing flowers directly, the collection embraces the philosophy behind Ikebana—balance, harmony, and the belief that less is more. Every piece celebrates the beauty of negative space, allowing absence to become just as meaningful as form itself.
One of the collection’s most striking rings perfectly illustrates this concept. Its design intentionally incorporates open space, transforming what would traditionally be considered “empty” into the defining feature of the piece. The result is a sculptural jewel that feels both contemporary and timeless, inviting the wearer to appreciate the dialogue between structure and space.
Tamiko Jewellery
Tamiko Suzuki’s creative vision has been shaped by years spent living in Europe, giving her work a distinctive cross-cultural perspective. Her collections effortlessly unite the refinement of European design with the quiet sophistication of Japanese aesthetics, creating a harmonious balance reminiscent of the philosophy of yin and yang. The result is jewelry that transcends trends, offering a modern interpretation of craftsmanship rooted in two rich design traditions.
Presented in an intimate Parisian setting, the collection reflected Tamiko Jewellery’s commitment to understated luxury and thoughtful design. Every creation embodies precision, restraint, and artistic expression, demonstrating that true elegance often lies not in excess, but in what is intentionally left unsaid.
