Suzy Amis Cameron, renowned environmental advocate and visionary entrepreneur, proudly announces the opening of the global headquarters of Inside Out Fashion, Textiles & Home in Rome, located at Via Principessa Clotilde 1A. This marks a bold step in shifting the center of gravity for sustainable fashion to Italy’s capital.
A core division of the international holding company Inside Out—led by CEO Matteo Ward—Inside Out Fashion, Textiles & Home is the first global platform of its kind to integrate fashion, textiles, and interior design under one purpose-driven mission: to radically redefine the role of the industry from one of extraction and pollution to one that champions ethics, regeneration, and cultural transformation.
“I am thrilled to launch Inside Out Fashion, Textiles & Home in Rome—a space we envisioned as a cultural design hub to shape better markets and shift global patterns,” said Suzy Amis Cameron, Founder and CEO of Inside Out. “This is a living manifestation of one of my greatest goals: using fashion as a vehicle for education and systemic change.”
Matteo Ward added, “By working alongside Italian and EU public institutions and the private sector, we aim to bring the sustainable fashion movement to Rome—infusing it with science, equity, and creative action.”
The newly inaugurated headquarters will operate across four core pillars—Education, Media, Brands, and Consulting—and is deeply supported by Inside Out’s five other verticals, including significant investments in science and innovation in collaboration with institutions such as MIT, Texas Tech, and Georgia Tech.
Four Pillars of Inside Out Fashion, Textiles & Home:
- Education: Committed to making education more inclusive and impactful, the team delivers workshops on sustainable fashion for children and teens (ages 5–18). In collaboration with the FAO, IO has developed educational materials now in use in over 140 countries.
- Media: Through films and documentaries, IO brings visibility to the challenges—and
solutions—impacting human and planetary health. Notable recent productions include Junk (2023), created with Sky Italia and Will Media, and Let Them Be Naked (2024), by designer Jeff Garner and Emmy Award-winner Darin Olien. - Brands: IO creates and supports solutions-driven brands in sectors like medical wear,
sportswear, and intimates. Recent investments include Sheep Inc., a UK-based company known for its radically transparent supply chain, which recently secured £5 million in Series A funding led by Inside Out. - Consulting: Built upon WRÅD—Inside Out’s award-winning consulting firm—this division has advised leading global clients including Ferragamo, EssilorLuxottica, Fondazione Sozzani, and Arclinea.
