Paraiso Miami Beach Brings Lifestyle, Resort And Swimwear Brands On And Off The Runway During Market Week In Miami Beach

Paraiso Miami Beach is officially taking over what was known as Miami Swim Week for over a decade. Bringing over 30+ runway shows and activations by top brands in
swimwear and a consumer-driven pop-up double decker overlooking Miami Beach, Paraiso will have something for everyone! Paraiso Miami Beach channels the core values of innovation, originality and discovery through must-see events, imaginative activations, exclusive launches, runway presentations and collaborations in design, music, wellness, art and social media.

For the first time ever, Paraiso Miami Beach brings fashion to the streets of Miami, inviting consumers to a multi-day pop-up space, the Paraiso Bungalow, where attendees can shop collections, accessories, jewelry while meeting designers behind some of the industries most reputable brands, all under one roof. Paraiso Miami Beach is proud to be partnering with Olivela, the luxury shopping destination where every purchase is empowered.

Together with Paraiso Miami Beach, Olivela will create an elevated shopping experience where consumers can use their purchasing power for good, with 20% of proceeds going to Miami-based non-profit organizations.

For decor, Paraiso will partner with renowned Spanish furniture designer, Gandiablasco and its Miami distributor Clima, to furnish the pop-up with its stylish and modern indoor and outdoor furniture pieces. Additionally, luxury, fine jewelry brand Chopard will bring its Happy Hearts collection to Miami for Paraiso.

Lastly, Candice Swanepoel’s sustainable swimwear line, Tropic of C will mix European elegance with Brazilian ease, for locals and visitors of Miami Beach with her see now, buy now collection.

In the mix of the fashion fair at the Paraiso Bungalow – rosé brand Day Owl will serve its west coast-made, vibrant rosé, that’s bright, citrusy, and dry, while splash-proof brand, Aloha Collection, will bring its Hawaiian roots to the retail experience with its beach-ready travel bags. The second floor terrace will host panel discussions, presentations, wellness mornings, as well as, designer brunches, dinners. Award winning chef Brad Kilgore of Kilgore Culinary will be activating the hospitality on the second floor terrace throughout the four-day festival.

Designers showing their Resort 2020 collections at Paraiso Miami Beach include Acacia, Badgley Mischka, Sinesia Karol, Monday Swimwear, Agua Bendita X Yanbal, Monica Hansen, Luli Fama, Aguaclara, and several others. In the lounge of Paraiso’s main runway tent, eyewear company Foster Grant will celebrate its 90th anniversary with an installation for the industry attendees, while JNSQ serves its refreshing rosé that tastes just like summer, to all guests of Paraiso.

Throughout the weekend, Paraiso Miami Beach guests will mingle between beauty and personal care activations and fun pool and beachside parties. Parisian eyewear brand, Izipizi and Australian pool float brand Sunny Life will come together to host a color-filled pool party at iconic 1940s hotel The Plymouth South Beach.

Putting its stamp of approval on the topic of sustainability, Paraiso Miami Beach joins forces with The Upcycle Project to develop The Upcycle Challenge, a national, student-designer competition developed to give use to deadstock fabrics and textiles from reputable swimwear brands.

Designers including Vitamin A, Cynthia Rowley, Volcom, Maaji and L*Space will mentor student designers through the design process to bring their looks to Paraiso Miami Beach. The winner of the challenge will be chosen by an industry jury crafted around their involvement in sustainability and fashion.

Programs such as Paraiso’s Upcycle Challenge inspires new designers from top fashion institutes across the U.S. on the importance of sustainable practices in the fashion industry,” said Elizabeth Wheaton, Director of Environment & Sustainability at the City of Miami Beach.

Off-site venues housing Paraiso Miami Beach events include The Setai Miami Beach, The Plymouth Hotel, The W South Beach, Lincoln 1111 and Artechouse. Opening just in time for Paraiso Miami Beach and complementing the iconic art deco landscape of the city is The Lennox Hotel. On another note, for the first time ever, attendees will cross the bridge to a Paraiso-satellite space at Brickell City Centre where renowned brand, Maaji, will show its Resort 2020 collection to an audience of industry influencers and invite residents and visitors of Miami to join the show. Brickell City Centre will activate wellness mornings and enhance the shopping experience for guests.

For the first time, Destination: Ipsy is coming to Paraiso Miami Beach with beauty activations, like mini-makeovers, photo ops and a build-your-own-glam-bag station all in Collins Park, open to consumers. Paraiso Miami Beach will also activate on the beach itself on Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th between 20th and 21st Streets with bonfires, live music and other special events.
