A self-taught, talented and customer-oriented designer with an eye for Children’s Couture Runway and Pageant Fashion. 6+ years ago the Designer of Nita Belles Closet, Jen Hajtovik, started designing and creating pageant attire for girls all over the US, especially her own daughters, Nia and Ivree.
In 2021, Jen decided to embark on creating custom couture runway collections for models from ages 4 up to 17 years old. Believing that children are professional models too, Nita Belles Closet takes great pride in creating a platform for and supporting these models in their endeavors of professional modeling. Nita Belles Closet has spent years building a business based on a high level of integrity and openness to all the models and their families who take part in these journeys of professional runway production experiences. Nita Belles Closet holds great pride in being a safe place for models to enjoy true modeling experiences within the fashion industry.
The Nita Belles Closet team is made up entirely of family! Nita Belles Closet prides itself on being completely family oriented and operated as well. Jen Hajtovik and all four of her children play an integral role in the hard work in front of and behind the scenes. Jen Hajtovik is the designer, seamstress and owner and CEO of Nita Belles Closet. Makai Hajtovik (son) is Photographer, trainer, media and backstage hand. Nia Orr (Daughter) has been a Lead Model, Hair & Make-up artist, and co-designer. Ivree Orr (Daughter) is the “FACE” of Nita Belles Closet as the Lead Model but also plays an integral role as a co-designer and seamstress. The oldest of her children, Cameron, is now an active-duty US Marine and has been since 2022. Before he joined the Marines he plays an integral role in support, planning and logistics for show platform and production connections.
Nita Belles Closets’ mission has been and will always be, to increase the self-esteem and confidence in young models through creating designs that promotes equality and body positivity. Nita Belles Closet aims to provide all models with an honest, yet imaginative, professional modeling experience every showcase no matter the destination.
After many New York Fashion Week seasons successfully conducted, this September Nita Belles Closet brought their designs international with their first show in Paris, France. The show was located at the prestigious Westin-Paris Vendome. Creating an exclusive collection, “Belle”, Nita Belles Closet took the models on an exciting first-time experience walking down an exquisite runway under the award-winning production of HiTechModa. Immediately after the magical showcase down the runway, the group of models engaged in a full-scale photoshoot guided by the hands of designer, Jen Hajtovik.
In 2025, Nita Belles Closet aims to launch more international runway experiences that models can join with ease and a sense of a safe place to experience professional modeling as youth runway models. In a world where children are so vulnerable, Nita Belles Closet stands firm in their integrity to Models and families that are connected through all runway showcases whether in the states or abroad.
