The Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS), the global platform founded by Estefanía Lacayo and Samantha Tams, recognized as a driving force for Latin American fashion and design, returns to Miami this November with its most dynamic edition yet.
From November 2 to 4, 2025, the 7th edition of LAFS will take over the Miami Design District, with The Moore Building serving as its main venue. Over three days, the summit will bring together designers, founders, retailers, investors, and media in a curated program designed to expand visibility and open new markets for Latin American talent
This year’s agenda will feature leaders from Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, Shopbop, Revolve, The Webster, Kirna Zabete, Saks Global, and more, addressing the themes shaping the future of fashion: cross-border commerce, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and brand storytelling.
Highlights include:
“Monetize Your Influence” presented by ShopMy with co-founder Tiffany Lopinsky.
“Building The Dream Brand” with April Henning, President of Moda Operandi, and Jonathan Simkhai, founder of SIMKHAI. – A special conversation with Craig Robins, CEO of Dacra – Miami Design District.
Disney will also host a special panel, reaffirming its commitment to creativity and innovation across fashion and entertainment. The brand will engage students to highlight career pathways and present a temporary museum-style exhibition celebrating its cultural storytelling legacy.
Pitch to LAFS: A Proven Launchpad
One of the summit’s most anticipated moments is Pitch to LAFS, now recognized as a transformative opportunity for emerging designers. This year’s jury includes Karla Martínez, Editorial Director of VOGUE Mexico; Elizabeth von der Goltz, Board Member and Founder of RAISEfashion; Johanna Ortiz, Founder and Designer of Johanna Ortiz; and Carmen Busquets, Co-Founder of Net-A-Porter, among others.
Since its creation in 2018, Pitch to LAFS has propelled brands like Baobab, Studio Conchita, and Curatoria into international markets, securing distribution, high-profile collaborations, and global recognition.
Curated Pop-Up: A Retail Experience
The LAFS Pop-Up will showcase more than 35 carefully selected brands, offering unique retail experience and direct access to international buyers, media, and tastemakers.
Networking on a Global Scale
Attendees will enjoy matchmaking sessions with top retailers, exclusive dinners, and experiential activations across fashion, beauty, spirits, finance, and entertainment.
As part of the closing cocktail, Zacapa will once again present the Visionary of the Year Award, honoring Patricia Bonaldi, Creative Director of PatBo, for her outstanding contribution to Latin American fashion. This year’s award coincides with Zacapa’s 50th anniversary, adding special significance to the celebration.
More Than a Summit
Beyond its flagship event, LAFS operates year-round as an ecosystem of education, mentorship, editorial content, and retail experiences. Its mission: to deliver tangible results—distribution, collaborations, and growth opportunities—for Latin American talent.
“This year, LAFS raises the bar for meaningful connections and measurable outcomes. We’re bringing together the most ambitious founders, retailers, and allies to open new markets for Latin talent and prove that culture and commerce can thrive together,” said co-founder Samantha Tams.
