Inspiramais Unveils a Future of Hope and Innovation Through Textile Design

INSPIRAMAIS returns for its 32nd edition as Latin America’s premier fashion launch event, set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil, on July 15 and 16. Returning to the city where it first debuted, this highly anticipated gathering will once again champion the regional fashion industry. The event will be hosted at the Pro Magno Event Center, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence in fashion.

Hope and lightness emerging from darkness—this is the essence of the Human 2026_II inspiration research. Developed by Assintecal’s Nucleus of Design and Research, this concept will soon be applied in select factories, with its materials showcased to the public at the upcoming edition of the exhibition.

Walter Rodrigues, coordinator of the Nucleus, explained that Human, centered on the theme of Hope, reflects the urgent need to move beyond the turbulence of war, social struggles, and climate crises. ‘Hope is the seed of revolution; it raises indicators that illuminate the path forward,’ he stated. In this context, Rodrigues introduced two key sub-themes: Community and Utopia, highlighting their role in shaping a more optimistic and transformative vision for the future.

The first, which was heavily influenced by dance (ballet), is permeated by materials that allow comfort and movement. In the sub-theme, there are suggestions for technological bases, materials with elasticity, transparency, satin, among others, which already appear in avant-garde international brands, such as Loewe, JW Anderson, Ferragamo, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi.

The second sub-theme is Utopia, which involves a true sensory immersion, with many prints, textures, lights that indicate speed, playful aspects, surfaces with varnish and shine, and maximalist accessories, all with a pop and urban language. In this context, Rodrigues cited the work of brands such as Staff Only, Chopovalowena, Anrealage, Feng Chen, Balmain, Saint Laurent and Vaquera.

According to the superintendent of the Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Clothing Components Companies (Assintecal), Silvana Dilly, São Paulo presents a greater level of diversification among buyer segments. “In the event’s January edition held in Porto Alegre/RS, we mainly received visitors from the footwear production chain, since the state is the sector’s main producer at the national level. In São Paulo, given that the city is the main commercial center in Brazil, we will be welcoming buyers from a range of market segments, from pet products to footwear,” She confirmed. According to Dilly, the transversal nature of the materials presented has allowed INSPIRAMAIS to extend the scope of the markets receiving services while focusing on fashion products.

The event is organized by Assintecal in partnership with the Center for the Industries of Tanneries of Brazil (CICB), the Brazilian Association of the Textile and Apparel Industry (Abit), and the Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries (Abimóvel). It is held by Brazilian Materials and partnered with Sebrae Nacional. More information on the website www.inspiramais.com.br
