Bruce Lee Enters Elevated Streetwear

Inspired by the legacy of martial arts star Bruce Lee, D-R-G-N interprets iconic 80’s and 90’s sports heritage for AW25

Emerging luxury men’s streetwear brand D-R-G-N introduced its AW24 collection in New York City this week, replete with individual editor appointments and a refined fête for men’s fashion insiders, celebrity stylists, and creatives. Notable guests included Ayoka Lucas, Jean Palmieri, Nikko Kefalas, Dylan Andrews, Eugen Ivanov and Alicia Shi.

For AW25, D-R-G-N introduced its version of modern cross-over sportswear as inspired by classic silhouettes with sports heritage, and uses authentic notes and sketches from the groundbreaking martial artist and cultural icon Bruce Lee’s personal journal, provided by Lee’s family.

D-R-G-N is co-founded by denim pioneer, Peter Kim, the founder and former chief executive officer of Hudson Jeans, and Bruce Lee Enterprises, helmed by CEO and Founder Shannon Lee.

Now in its fourth collection, D-R-G-N’s autumn-winter collection introduces functional denim pants and jackets for the first time, and its lightweight technical tracksuits were further inspired by the 1994 Winter Olympics and Bruce Lee’s storied friendship with motocross icon Steve McQueen. The suits were designed with materials including trico and sports nylon, and updated with three-quarter, oversized sleeves, mesh details, crops, and technical bungees and plungers for adjustability.

“We wanted to marry technicality with luxury fabrics that create an interesting balance, while keeping in mind the same function and style Bruce Lee brought to his training and everyday life,” said Kim.

D-R-G-N is available at high-end, specialty men’s stores worldwide, primarily relying on its website to inform the brand’s purpose, while driving traffic to its retail supporting network, then activating in-store to support the retailers. Stockists include ATELIER in New York, Bodega and FEATURE in Los Angeles, JET in Mexico City, Likelihood in Seattle, IMA:ZINE in Osaka, and more.

Last month, French Designer Ben Taverniti stepped into the role of Creative Director at D-R-G-N, marking a return for the design duo, as Peter and Taverniti had previously teamed up at Hudson Jeans, taking the brand to its greatest heights.

Next, D-R–G-N will present its SS26 collection in Paris during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
