Trtuyt, the Armenian luxury fashion brand renowned for its dedication to Armenian art, unveiled its highly anticipated Spring-Summer 2025 collection at the prestigious Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.
This collection pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of legendary filmmaker Sergei Parajanov, whose cinematic vision continues to inspire artists worldwide.
Supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the fashion showcase combined Artuyt’s craftsmanship with Parajanov’s avant-garde aesthetic. The event drew a crowd of fashion enthusiasts, art lovers, and buyers, all eager to experience this powerful fusion of fashion, film, and Armenian heritage.

A Tribute to Sergei Parajanov
The collection takes its inspiration from Parajanov’s vivid sense of color and poetic visual storytelling. His talent for transforming reality into artistic expression, especially through collage, had a profound influence. The collection’s core colors—bright blue, gray, gold, and yellow—each represent different facets of his world. Gray symbolizes the realities he faced, while blue and gold reflect the dreamlike quality of his visions. The Baroque influences and motifs like gloves, representing elegance and protection, capture his unique cultural blend. The setting at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, a neo-Renaissance house in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda, provided the perfect atmosphere. Surrounded by its historic collections and elegant decor, it beautifully enhanced the collection’s deep connection to heritage and artistic craftsmanship.
Rich fabrics, including silk, velvet, and lace, are adorned with intricate embellishments. Each piece is a celebration of timeless elegance, with modern silhouettes that reflect both Renaissance grandeur and contemporary sophistication.
Immersive Fashion Experience
The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum also served as the perfect backdrop for the collection’s debut, offering an immersive atmosphere that highlighted the intricate craftsmanship and design philosophy behind Artuyt’s pieces. The museum’s Renaissance architecture echoed the collection’s historical influences, while modern light installations and multimedia projections brought Parajanov’s cinematic world to life.
The runway itself became an immersive journey, with live performances and visual storytelling. Models moved through the museum’s lavish halls, each look telling its own story of artistic heritage and innovation.
To complete the looks, Artuyt collaborated with Armenian shoemaker Boyakhchyan, who exclusively produced the Mesh Ballerina shoes, crafted from Italian raw materials.
Continuing Artuyt’s Mission
Artuyt continues to pursue its mission of sharing Armenian art with the world. With this latest collection, the brand reaffirms its commitment to cultural preservation and innovation, seamlessly blending Armenian history with global fashion trends.
