Taipei Fashion Week AW25, organized by the Ministry of Culture, officially launched at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, setting a new standard for sustainability in fashion.
More than just crafting garments, fashion serves as a reflection of social issues, a medium for cultural expression, and a driver of progress. This ethos has long defined Taipei Fashion Week, and this year’s edition is no exception.
With a focus on “Full Circularity” and “Digital Pattern-making,” Taipei Fashion Week AW25 brings together six designers and top textile manufacturers to showcase a groundbreaking approach to sustainable fashion.
Minister of Culture, Li, Yuan emphasized the event’s pioneering mission: “Taipei Fashion Week has committed to ensuring every step—from material sourcing and production to final design—aligns with sustainability principles.” This dedication makes Taipei Fashion Week the first in Asia to be entirely devoted to sustainable fashion.
Taiwan’s fashion industry is actively embracing the concept of “Full Circularity,” working alongside leading textile manufacturers and designers to implement green circular practices. Leveraging Taiwan’s advanced textile and technology industries, the event promotes eco-conscious fashion, proving that style and sustainability can seamlessly coexist. Beyond the runway, Taipei Fashion Week AW25 will host a Weekend Fashion Market and Sustainability Workshop on March 30, open to the public. The market will feature exclusive designer samples and surplus stock at accessible prices, redefining the constraints of seasonal fashion. Attendees can also participate in upcycling workshops and styling tutorials, exploring the endless potential of fashion regeneration.
Taipei Fashion Week AW25 is not just an event—it is a statement and a practice of sustainable living. By combining innovation with eco-conscious design, it showcases Taiwan’s unique fashion identity while shaping the future of fashion.
