Ashleigh Pogue on Luxury with Purpose: From Private Collector to Fashion’s New Voice

Ashleigh Pogue, an up and coming creator, is no stranger to fashion.

She’s garnering millions of views monthly and lots of curiosity from the fashion world. An exclusive interview on her recent attendance at Milan fashion week and what we can expect from her next.

Ashleigh Pogue

Q: You’ve moved from private collector to public creator. What was the turning point that made you decide to share this world online?

The turning point for me was realizing that collecting wasn’t just about the pieces themselves—it was about the stories, the craftsmanship, and the lifestyle they represent. For years I kept that world very private, almost like a secret passion. But I started to see how much joy and inspiration it could bring others, especially women who wanted to dream bigger or feel more confident in their own style. Sharing it online became less about ‘showing’ and more about inviting people into a world of heritage, and intention.

Q: How do you balance authenticity vs aspiration in your storytelling?

Authenticity and aspiration aren’t opposites for me—they’re two sides of the same story. I share beauty and luxury, but always through a lens that reflects my real life, my values, and my experiences. That balance is what keeps it inspiring, but also attainable.

Q: You recently attended Milan Fashion Week as the guest of several prestigious designers. What were your top three experiences during Milan Fashion Week?

The whole week was one amazing experience but if I had to choose three they would be dinner with Fendi celebrating their 100 years, dinner with the Dolce and Gabbana team for Alta Moda, and attending the Prada show.

Q: Your looks for the week embodied your point of view. Which ensemble felt like your favorite Milan statement?

For me, that look would have been the Prada look for the show. Very girly yet still a classic look.

Q: Paris Fashion Week is often seen as the pinnacle, yet Milan has its own rhythm and allure. How did the two experiences compare?

Paris feels like a sprint. Electric, cinematic, and charged with creative tension. Milan, on the other hand, moves with a quieter confidence. It’s more laid-back, more about the craftsmanship and the conversations. Both are beautiful in their own way—Paris feeds your adrenaline, Milan feeds your soul.

Q: Beyond fashion what were some of your favorite things about Milan?

The food, the art, the people; Milan makes everyday moments feel luxurious. Even the quiet ones.

Q: Your collection of rare bags is already a signature…what drew you to them, do you have a favorite, are there any you regret?

I’ve always seen handbags as more than accessories—they’re memories for me. Many pieces mark moments in my life—milestones, travels, or gifts from people I love. My favorite is the one that reminds me most of my family, because that’s what grounds me. I don’t believe in regrets when it comes to collecting; if something no longer fits, I pass it on so it can make someone else feel as special as it once made me.

Q: If you had to distill your personal aesthetic into a single phrase, what would it be?

Grace in luxury, purpose in beauty.

Q: If you could lend your perspective to a collaboration with brand or designer, which brand would you dream of working with and why?

There are honestly so many brands I love and respect, it’s hard to pick just one. I’ve always been really drawn to the luxury fashion world, so collaborating with a high-end brand would be such a dream come true. At the same time, I’m super passionate about health and wellness, so I could definitely see myself doing something in that space too. But ultimately, my biggest goal is to create something of my own from the ground up one day and I really hope to make that dream happen.

Q: How would you like your collection and your narrative within fashion to be remembered in years to come?

I hope my story in fashion reflects grace—that you can love luxury, but still lead with heart. That beauty can be both glamorous and God centered. If my collection leaves a mark, I want it to remind others that purpose never goes out of style.

Q: What can your rapidly growing following expect from you next?

More connection, more creation and a few surprises I’ve been dreaming up quietly.
