About C+plus SERIES
Taiwan-born designer C.T. Liu switched his career from film to fashion design, graduating the Fashion Design at Shin Chien University in Taipei. In 2015, C.T. Liu opened the Mercedes Benz S/S15 Fashion Week in Asia and was awarded the Most Potential Asian Designer award. After serving as the creative director for two commercial brands, Liu founded his brand C+plus SERIES in 2018 in Shanghai and had the brand’s debut runway show at New York Fashion Week.
Carrying on the aesthetic of pragmatism, Liu explores the concept of simplicity while elaborating on the quality of each and every item. Liu believes a single piece of clothing should bring the most style and creates his urban modernist aesthetic for the new millennial women.
SPRING SUMMER 2021
The Spring Summer 2021 series is inspired by the sci-fi film Annihilation (2018), which tells the adventurous story of a mysterious wonder where human and nature clash. The collection is about self-destruction and evolution. By adding feminine elements to the consistent neutral tone of the fabrics and colors, designer C.T. Liu continues the concept of deconstruction and reorganization of C+ plus SERIES. He presents a desolate, destructive beauty that is approaching the end of this pandemic time and figures out more possibilities for a new balance within the existing conflict.
