Descalzo Shows also sponsored the Wonder Woman Initiative powered by Eido Swimwear.

Honoring female survivors and women thriving in business, wellness, and philanthropy within our community, Wonder Woman Initiative brings together women from the region. This year, with the support of Miami Beach Commissioner Michael C. Gongora, the brand honored burn survivor Ana Gonzalez. In 1993, Ana Gonzalez suffered 3rd degree burns in an accident with gasoline from a propane portable oven. She was placed in an induced coma for 2 weeks and was given very little chance of survival. Today, Ana is graduate of the University of South Florida, she lives with courage and has been able to thrive irrespective of bullying she has experienced throughout the years. The event also honored Transformational, Coach Jennifer Nicole Lee, Domestic Violence survivor Amanda Chattic, and Wellness Entrepreneur Carla Joseph.

Descalzo Shows wants to remind women that, ‘when we come together, powerful things happen’ and that ‘you’re not dimming your light by helping other women shine’. Registration for their new show, Swim Craze at Miami Swim Week 2020 and British Virgin Islands is now open.
