Designer Victor dE Souza presents his newest collection for S/S 2025 at the beautiful Consulate General of Argentina space on 56th Street in Manhattan.
This season, the designer was inspired by the current changing landscape of urban life. The New York-based, Argentinian designer explains, “As we all return to the workplace, this collection reflects the fantasy and whimsy of what the world can be.
A wonderland of lush fabrics such as worsted wool, brocades, hand paintings, and silks adorned with edgy features that lean towards punk. This collection lends itself to the rabbit hole, the idea of being well dressed in any capacity. Stark structure and of course the hard-edge that Victor has been noted for, it is letting people know you are well dressed while also conveying the classic New York style of ‘don’t mess with me’.”

In his native Buenos Aires, amidst a family steeped in Portuguese lineage, Victor de Souza’s artistic odyssey began in his grandmother’s closet. The silent grandeur of Dior, Balenciaga, and Chanel–their architectural silhouettes and luxurious textures–sparked a lifelong passion. At fourteen, this fascination led him to immerse himself in the rigorous training of Argentina’s premier couture academies, including the acclaimed CETIC.
This unwavering foundation paved the way for Victor’s arrival in New York City, where his artistic vision found fertile ground. He established Victor dE Souza, a brand synonymous with timeless elegance and meticulous artistry. Each garment emerges from a profound respect for the craft, precisely crafted with premium materials and unwavering attention to detail.
