The Canvas Jewelry Store Opens with Standout Brands La Nadia & Her Children

Debut event celebrates the launch of The Canvas’ newest concept in ethical jewelry at the iconic Oculus World Trade Center

Last week, The Canvas Jewelry Boutique opened its doors at Westfield World Trade Center, marking the latest addition to The Canvas’ growing presence of now four stores within the iconic downtown hub and mall.

The boutique showcases over 15 independent brands from nearly as many countries, each committed to ethical and sustainable practices.
Highlighted at the boutique’s debut event were La Nadia Jewels and Her Children, with both designers present to meet guests and share the inspiration behind their collections. The evening also featured a DJ set by Lumia, a rising name in New York City’s techno scene.

“This year has been a whirlwind, like a mini rebirth for La Nadia Jewels,” the La Nadia team shared. “In just a few months, we rebranded, found new manufacturing partners, launched a 23-piece collection, battled supply delays, pulled off our first big shoot, and somehow still found the energy to attend 10 shows. Every late night, every risk we took, it all led us to this moment.”

Speaking on the experience of launching in New York, they added: “Making our debut at The Canvas, surrounded by this amazing group and our community, felt like a full-circle reward. We launched our collection in the heart of NYC, opened the doors to a stunning new retail space, and officially called this city our new home. It’s a special milestone—and hopefully just the beginning of something much bigger.”

Reflecting on the shift from online to in-person retail, the brand emphasized the importance of physical connection. La Nadia and Her Children will also be showcased and sold at The Canvas new SoHo location at 456 West Broadway.

“Our online community has always been incredible, but being in a space where people can see the craftsmanship up close, hear the stories behind each piece, and share their own, is such a magical experience. Nothing is more inspiring for a creator than to know something you made can touch someone’s life in such a personal way. So this collection is for those who care about meaning and elegance at the same time… sentimental jewelry without the boring, tacky and overdone designs—and equally important, with materials that are kind to your skin and the planet.”
