AMAL SAEED — THE FALSE BLOOM
For her Paris debut, Dubai-based luxury house Amal Saeed explores the fragile boundary between fear, perception and reality in The False Bloom.
Founded by sisters Amal and Arwa, the brand approaches fashion as visual art, combining bold experimentation with exceptional craftsmanship and a slow-luxury philosophy. Ten sculptural couture looks translate the psychological narrative into hand embroidery and wearable art.
MARÍA PÍA CORNEJO — PURIFY SS27
Water becomes a metaphor for cleansing, transformation and renewal in Purify SS27 by LIVERTA® by María Pía Cornejo.
The Chilean avant-garde house brings together structural tailoring, hand embroidery, fabric manipulation and integrated technology. Resin-sculpted forms capture the physical structure of water while suggesting a deeper process of spiritual elevation and renewed consciousness.
HIROKO TOKUMINE
Japanese heritage, fantasy and couture converge in Hiroko Tokumine’s Paris presentation. Born and raised in Okinawa and now based in Tokyo, the designer builds her world around the philosophy of “Wear the story of your dreams.”
Kimono-inspired construction, Lolita aesthetics and couture craftsmanship meet references to Ryukyu Bingata, Onagadori feathers, shigin and contemporary Japanese animation. A live performance further transformed the presentation into a celebration of Japanese storytelling and culture.
EV BOUTIQUE — WHISPERS OF ELEGANCE
Founded in 2019 by Emirati designer Salama Alqubaisi, EV Boutique (Elegant Velvet) celebrates Emirati heritage through modern luxury and refined modest fashion. Specialising in elegant, contemporary abayas, the brand combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative design, premium fabrics, delicate embellishments and flowing silhouettes. Each piece reflects sophistication, comfort and timeless elegance, created for women seeking exclusivity and individuality.
EV Boutique’s collection, “Whispers of Elegance,” draws inspiration from the beauty and authenticity of tradition while embracing creativity and innovation. Featuring premium fabrics sourced from France, Korea, Japan and Turkey, the collection blends refined textures and elegant layering, embodying its philosophy: where grace speaks softly and elegance lasts forever.
IKA BUTONI
Nature, craftsmanship and the human hand come together in Woven Roots, Ika Butoni’s latest collection exploring the connection between land, water and the people who shape each garment.
Eco-printed roots and leaves are pressed directly into fabric, creating one-of-a-kind botanical markings, while hand-painted brushstrokes introduce a fluid quality inspired by the movement of water. Together, these techniques create a visual dialogue between the organic traces of nature and the intentional gestures of the maker.
The collection continues Ika Butoni’s commitment to natural materials and heritage techniques, including botanical eco-printing and macramé. Each piece is shaped by local artisans, including artisans with disabilities, giving every knot, dye mark and brushstroke an individual character that cannot be replicated.
With Woven Roots, Ika Butoni presents craftsmanship not as a pursuit of uniformity, but as an expression of patience, individuality and the diverse hands behind each creation.
CECILIA ORTIZ
Mexican designer Cecilia Ortiz brings an artistic approach to the female silhouette through artisanal craftsmanship, textile manipulation and nature-inspired textures.
Founded in 2025, the brand reflects Ortiz’s passion for translating art into garments and stories into textiles. Her presentation follows recognition that includes the National Fashion Design Award in 2024 and a New York Fashion Week presentation with Universidad Iberoamericana.
MONA ALBLOUSHI — AL DANAH
For Kuwaiti designer Mona Albloushi, Al Danah, meaning “The Pearl,” transforms cultural heritage into contemporary bridal couture.
Inspired by Kuwait’s identity as the Pearl of the Gulf, satin, tulle and lace are enriched with handembedded pearls that recall the country’s historic pearl-diving tradition. The collection balances timeless craftsmanship with modern silhouettes, allowing today’s bride to carry heritage, beauty and cultural identity forward.
APRIL BLACK DIAMOND
April Black Diamond brings the glamour of Los Angeles haute couture to Paris through dramatic gowns, intricate embellishment and sophisticated silhouettes.
With an international presence spanning Paris, Milan, Venice, Dubai and Beverly Hills, the brand creates statement pieces for red carpets, bridal celebrations and special occasions. Couture becomes an expression of glamour, individuality and transformation.
ANAHIT FASHIONDRUG
Since its founding in 2016, Anahit Fashiondrug has developed a signature balance between feminine softness and architectural strength.
The Beverly Hills-based house combines refined silhouettes, sculptural tailoring and handcrafted details across eveningwear and custom design. At its core is a belief that personal style communicates identity, presence and purpose — allowing individuality to become the foundation of elegance.
MAISON PACINTHE BADRAN
Egyptian designer and creative director Pacinthe Badran brings an established couture legacy to Paris. Founder of Maison Pacinthe Badran, Pacinthe Badran Bridal and MISS PB, she has developed a distinctive creative identity across couture, bridal and contemporary femininity.
Her relationship with Paris Fashion Week spans multiple seasons, with previous collections including La Meduse SS24, ROSALÌA SS25 and SERENITÉ SS26. Her work has also earned significant editorial recognition, including two appearances on the cover of Vogue Arabia. Badran has designed for prominent Egyptian stars including Youssra and actress Nour, further establishing her position within contemporary Arab fashion.
LE’VEENA COUTURE — THE GILDED REVERIE
The Gilded Reverie by LE’VEENA Couture draws inspiration from gilded interiors, classical art and antique textures, transforming the atmosphere of the past into a contemporary couture language.
Sculptural corsetry, fluid draping and hand embellishment create a dreamlike interpretation of timeless femininity. Ivory, champagne, warm neutrals, deep brown and black form the palette, while golden detailing provides a contemporary interpretation of historical opulence.
BILAL EL DANA
Lebanese designer Bilal El Dana approaches luxury through refined simplicity. Drawing on years of couture experience alongside renowned Lebanese designers, his work combines precise tailoring with meticulous attention to detail.
Across ready-to-wear, eveningwear, couture and bridal, El Dana creates pieces that balance sophistication with restraint, allowing construction and craftsmanship to define the character of each garment.
MOONMAINS — ÉTERNELLE SS2027
Éternelle SS2027 explores femininity as something enduring yet constantly evolving — romantic yet commanding, delicate yet strong.
Architectural corsetry and sculpted silhouettes meet chiffon, draped necklines and flowing trains. Crystal embroidery, geometric beadwork, fringe and dimensional appliqué create movement across a palette of ivory, silver, blush, pale gold and icy blue inspired by dawn and moonlight.
HEVA COUTURE — VERDÉA — THE ART OF BECOMING
Nature’s quiet awakening provides the foundation for Heva Couture’s VERDÉA — The Art of Becoming. A shoot reaching toward light, branches extending and flowers opening in their own time become metaphors for a woman’s transformation. Each piece represents a stage of becoming — rooting, awakening, sprouting, growing, transforming and blooming.
Hand-embroidered branch-like beadwork traces the body, reinforcing the collection’s central message: beauty does not arrive all at once. She grows. She transforms. She blooms.
The October 4 presentation brought together an expansive spectrum of international fashion voices, creating a fitting continuation of Fashion Week Studio’s S/S27 celebration in Paris. From couture inspired by nature and cultural heritage to architectural design, bridal artistry and contemporary luxury, the collections demonstrated the many forms that transformation can take. At Pavillon Dauphine, designers from across continents shared their individual creative languages, reinforcing Fashion Week Studio’s vision of fashion as a space where heritage, imagination and individuality can exist side by side.
