ETHEREAL SHIFT
“We must break to let the light in.”
With Ethereal Shift, Steven Passaro enters a new emotional chapter, one of transformation, elevation, and release.
The collection explores the moment of fracture as awakening. A quiet tension that creates space. An invitation to surrender to something greater than ourselves. Each silhouette reflects this passage, where breaking becomes the beginning of light.
Attuned to the emotional state of our time, Steven Passaro draws inspiration from a collective desire for
meaning, slowness, and reconnection. Ethereal Shift reflects a universal spirituality, instinctive rather than
symbolic, rooted in the body and in lived experience. The collection acknowledges a world in constant motion,
where identity, values, and forms are continuously shifting.

“Throughout the design process, I became deeply aware of repetition and gesture. Dressing turned into a ritual, a way to reconnect with intention. Each layer became a step toward transformation, allowing the body and the garment to shift together.” Clothes become artefacts of ritual, part of an intimate choreography of dressing, layering, and revisiting. To try. To twist. To reshape. To allow the silhouette to evolve and take space once forbidden.
Tailored lapels rise high, as if reaching upward, a physical attempt to connect with something beyond the self.
Traditional techniques meet contemporary construction, where precision and intuition coexist and the hand remains central to shaping form and volume.
Volumes expand and drift away from the body, suspended between structure and air. Tailoring loosens its hold, opening into fluid constructions where garments appear in motion even at rest. Pieces overlap, collide, and shift, caught in a moment of transition.
Materials are approached as living elements. Soft wools, flowing textiles, and structured fabrics exist in subtle tension. Shiny leather meets fluid viscose, balancing resistance and surrender. Through movement and layering, fabrics reveal their presence, allowing texture, light, and gesture to define the silhouette.
Familiar forms are displaced. Proportions grow, soften, and distort. The body is no longer contained, but revealed through movement, accumulation, and light filtering between layers.
With Ethereal Shift, Steven Passaro continues his exploration of emotional architecture, offering a vision of fashion as a passage, where transformation is worn.
