Runway 7, the fashion industry’s most diverse runway production platform, will return to New York Fashion Week this September for its 11th season, presenting a six-day runway program from September 8 through 13, 2026, at Sony Hall, 235 West 46th Street.
The edition will bring together 138 designers showcasing Spring/Summer 2027 collections, spanning ready-to-wear, eveningwear, streetwear, swim, couture, bridal, accessories and more, alongside a slate of philanthropic, celebrity and brand-driven showcases.
Runway 7 has built its reputation as an expansive lifestyle marketplace spanning fashion, art, design and music, platforming more than 100 designers from over 16 countries each season with must-see shows, performances and installations. This season marks a historic milestone for Latin America at New York Fashion Week, with more than 27 participating brands from Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Brazil and Costa Rica.
“Season 11 is our most ambitious edition yet — 138 designers across six days, united by a common thread of craftsmanship, culture and purpose,” said Diane Vara, Director of Public Relations, Runway 7. “From our opening night celebration of animal welfare to the causes and communities represented throughout the week, this season reflects what New York Fashion Week does best: bring the industry together around ideas bigger than the runway itself.”
The season opens Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m., with the fourth annual CatWalk FurBaby, presented by Elysian Magazine under the theme “Women Inspiring Women.” The evening unites high fashion and philanthropy in support of animal welfare, with fashion historian Fern Mallis attending as the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Honoree and journalist and television producer Charlii Sebunya serving as Master of Ceremonies. VIP and special guests include Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Nicole Miller and Marc Bouwer, with featured designers Victor de Souza, Anne Fontaine, Marc Bouwer Studio, L’Agence x Cate Brown, D’Marsh Couture, Hot Girl Quilting, Mazarura, Bless by Bless, Halyna Shunevych, Any Old Iron and Magpies & Peacocks.

The show hits close to home for Runway 7’s Director Christina Kovacs, whose own experience overcoming serious illness has shaped her commitment to elevating the stories of others facing life-altering diagnoses.
“Project Lab Coat has always been about using the runway as a platform for something much bigger than fashion. This season, in partnership with the Prevent Cancer Foundation, each lab coat will tell a different story, representing different types of cancer and the lives impacted by them. Together, they allow us to bring those stories to the runway in a way that is both deeply personal and incredibly visible,” said Kovacs. “Having lived through serious illness myself, I understand how profoundly a diagnosis can change the course of someone’s life. I’m especially honored that we’ll have a cancer survivor joining us on the runway through the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance, bringing a lived experience to the stories we’re telling. My hope is that when people see these coats come down the runway, they see more than fashion. They see the people, the stories and the resilience behind each one.”
