Runway 7 Approaches Miami’s May Swimwear Shows With Eyes on 2026

As 2025’s swimwear shows approach, Runway 7, the premier fashion show production company, is set to engage with the vibrant fashion scene of Miami.

Christina Kovacs, Director of Runway 7, will attend this year’s events to connect with designers, media and industry leaders, laying the groundwork for the company’s planned expansion to Miami in 2026. During her visit, she will also attend the productions of John Martinez, a seasoned Miami-based producer who has worked on Runway 7’s shows and is known for his expertise in casting direction and full-scale fashion event production. This engagement reinforces Runway 7’s ties with local industry leaders and highlights its commitment to building thoughtfully in each city it enters.

“Miami’s dynamic blend of culture, fashion and music makes it a natural extension for the Runway 7 experience” said Kovacs. “We’re excited to be part of the conversation this season and continue building towards our future presence here.”

In line with its mission to use fashion as a platform for purpose, Runway 7 recently donated to Lymelight Foundation and Global Lyme Alliance during this Lyme Awareness Month. To date, Runway 7 has raised over $150,000 for causes such as Multiple Sclerosis and now Lyme disease. Its initiative, Project Lab Coat, has featured impactful runway moments such as Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer, modeling a custom-designed lab coat to symbolize her advocacy. The company was also recently honored with a Gold Stevie Award for Best Business in America in the Entertainment category.

Runway 7 shows have attracted a vibrant mix of celebrity guests and performers such as Babyface, Seth Curry, Lele Pons, Allen Iverson, Rich The Kid, Saraya Bevis, Serayah, Mýa and more, making star-powered moments a signature of the brand’s immersive experiences. It’s the kind of energy and visibility the brand also aims to bring to future editions in Miami, where fashion, culture, and entertainment naturally converge.

As the brand continues to grow, its focus remains clear: blending creativity with advocacy and expanding in ways that elevate both fashion and impact.
