Oscar De La Renta Fall 2018: New York Fashion Week

Oscar De La Renta NYFW FW18

Creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia created a lovely spin on the classic style that Oscar De La Renta is known for to showcase the fall 2018 collection.

By opting for a classic yet flirty approach, they used corsets to set the stage for many of the classic ballgown styled dresses that ODLR made his mark with. Ravishing, long coats, that feature sophisticated embellishments, also adorned the runway, matched with classic heels that ranged from mystic red to a lovely golden yellow shade. Turtleneck sweaters, decorated by classic flowers, were coordinated with pencil skirts to tie together a charming, “girlboss” work look.

Off the shoulder tops and florals were a surprising twist to the collection, adding for a colorful way to dance through the light season of fall this year. Overall, this collection showcased many trends that will be a vital source for everyone’s fall 2018 attire.
