oqLiq Debuts Spring/Summer 2027 “RESONANCE” During London Fashion Week

Taiwan-based contemporary fashion label oqLiq debuted its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, RESONANCE, today as part of the London Fashion Week September 2026 Digital Schedule. The presentation premiered at 2:15 PM BST in London and 9:15 PM GMT+8 in Taipei.

Rooted in the continuous exchange between nature, material and the body, RESONANCE considers how clothing can respond intuitively to the environments we move through. Inspired by the constant shifts of wind, water, light, temperature and humidity, the collection approaches the garment as an interface between the wearer and their surroundings.

That relationship comes to life through the collection’s digital presentation, which places the wearer within a surreal, elemental landscape where nature and constructed space continually intersect. Against deep blue skies, still bodies of water, and vast mineral formations, the solitary model moves through scenes that shift between intimacy and monumental scale. Fabric appears to echo the movement of wind, while clouds, rock formations, and reflective surfaces create a visual world that blurs the boundaries between landscape and architecture. Close-up imagery of the face and eye brings the perspective back to the body, establishing a visual rhythm between the individual and the environment surrounding them.

The result is a world that feels simultaneously natural and imagined, extending the collection’s exploration of adaptation, movement, and sensory awareness. Rather than functioning simply as a backdrop, the environment becomes part of the collection’s narrative, reinforcing the idea that the body is continuously sensing and responding to change.

The Spring/Summer 2027 collection reflects the idea of clothing becoming instinctive and familiar—the piece a wearer repeatedly reaches for as they move through everyday life.

This collection brings together SUPIMA® cotton, wool and other natural-fibre blends with functional textiles, selected in response to different climates and the movement of the body. Natural fibres and technology coexist throughout the garments, balancing seemingly opposing qualities including lightness and protection, dryness and moisture, softness and structure. As the wearer moves through changing environments, the materials are designed to respond alongside them.

Visually, the collection reduces color to a singular tonal field, directing attention toward construction rather than surface decoration. Lines move across the body to shape volume, movement and form, while precise pattern cutting, functional construction and considered material choices define the garments. In the digital presentation, that restraint allows the collection to sit quietly against the dramatic scale of its surroundings, bringing silhouette, texture and movement to the forefront.

Through RESONANCE, oqLiq continues to explore clothing as an interface between the body and its environment, something capable of receiving, transmitting and adapting to change. As both the body and the city remain in constant motion, the garments move alongside them, offering functionality and protection while maintaining an understated presence.
