Five Karats, a luxurious, black-owned clothing brand that caters to both children and adults was also featured in The Fusion Show. Founded in 2012 by the remarkable designer and Brooklyn native, Nicole “Niko” Stevens, Five Karats has become synonymous with elegance and sophistication crafted from the finest materials and expert tailoring.

The Fusion Show also provided a platform for newly arrived designers to debut their collections including Touché BDA, established by mother-daughter duo Lisa and Domonique Rivas, in the beautiful island of Bermuda, 441 Wave, and Vault 45, a chic women’s clothing line, which stands as a testament to Brittany Janaye’s visionary approach, captivating fashion enthusiasts since its inception in 2022. Not only did this mark a significant milestone, but also showcased the designers’ unparalleled blend of style and inclusivity, solidifying them as a force in the fashion industry.

Truly celebrating a night of fusion, NYFW: The Fusion Show showcased the talents of singers AshtnMrtn and Marcano, who took the stage with electrifying live performances. Adding to the mesmerizing atmosphere, the extraordinary violinist, Allie Mae’s, virtuoso performance provided a unique layer of sophistication to the evening. In genuine EGE style, The Fusion Show pushed the boundaries of artistic collaboration by featuring a visual art performance by the talented Sherri J. and imagery from “From Dusk to Dawn: The Fannye Pierre Project,” produced by Bridge and Ladder, LLC. Curated by Sydney Henriques-Payne, the digital storytelling archive underscored the iconic fashion and fan favorites of the time — like, Billie Holiday and Duke Ellington.

Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey proudly sponsored libations for The Fusion Show, reinforcing its status as the best-selling Black-owned spirit brand in the United States. “The Fusion Show was executed in such a way that the audience thoroughly enjoyed the show”, said media mogul, Mr. Rogers. EGE believes that true art knows no boundaries, and NYFW: The Fusion Show exemplified this belief by bringing together fashion, film, and music in a harmonious and innovative manner.

NYFW: The Fusion Show took place on September 9th, 2023, in the heart of New York City and will be remembered as a groundbreaking event that redefined the possibilities of artistic expression within the world of fashion.
