Timeless at its core, each collection presents a new product in the original shaw line. The upcoming 2018 winter loungewear innovation include beautiful wool wraps and ponchos. The fabric choices include cashmere, merino, silk, leather, embellished with lace, feathers, hand embroidery and Swarovski crystals.

Maneesha Ruia design reflects contemporary Indian fashion, which is influenced by the diversity of cultures from all over the country. In turn, the pieces are informed by texture and weave from the states across India. Similarly, the possibilities to wear these everyday luxury pieces are endless. Those “Wrapping Wanderlusters” can be put around as a wrap, scarf, a cravat under a coat, head scarf, over a gown or a bolero over jeans or teeshirt.

Inspired by big fashion houses like Hermes, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabbana, the shawls sell in over 150 stores in the U.S. In the next few years, Maneesha Ruia hopes to grow into a lifestyle brand, introducing bags and small leather accessories, resort and key ready to wear pieces. The designer is partnering with selected platforms to sell the brand internationally.

You can find Maneesha Ruia’s upcoming Fall / Winter 2018 collection at Coterie show between February 26th – 28th at the Javits Center and Premiere Classe Tuileries from March 1st – 4th.
