As part of the official London Fashion Week calendar, Malone Souliers unveiled the AW25 collection, an evocative tribute to the world of classic noir cinema.

Presented at The Magistrates’ Ballroom in the NoMad Hotel on Monday, 24th February 2025, the immersive showcase captured the enigmatic glamour of femme fatales and the rich aesthetics of mid-century film— both integral themes of the AW25 collection.

Guests included Adot Gak, Amber Anderson, Alice Mcmillan, Chandra Scott, Corinna Brown, Honor Swinton Byrne, Mercedes Benson, Nicola Roberts, Sophia Di Martino, Tanatswa Money, Therica Wilson-Read and Yomi Adegoki.

The presentation space reflected the AW25 collection with cinematic grandeur, drawing

inspiration from Hitchcockian classics like To Catch a Thief, Vertigo, and Rear Window—films where mystery and sophistication take centre stage. A surreal boudoir-inspired setting, rich in sumptuous fabrics, featured velvet-covered plinths in pink, red and green, softly illuminated by chandeliers and framed by dramatic painted skies. A floral installation by Hamish Powell enhanced the theatricality, with sculptural urns overflowing with draping ferns and romantic blooms. Completing the immersive experience, guests enjoyed a reimagined 1950s cocktail party, with Martini cocktails, canapés, and delicacies nodding to the era’s playful elegance.

The AW25 collection itself embodies the duality of feminine mystique and power, drawing from the structured elegance and flirtatious decadence of cult film wardrobes. Silhouettes are sharp yet sensual, highlighted by refined craftsmanship and bold detailing. The colour palette of rosewood, tobacco and midnight is lifted by glistening metallics. Bold patterns lend a nostalgic edge, and rich textures add depth and opulence, accented by intricate broguing, crystal roses, and delicate pearls that serve as the collection’s decorative signatures.

Malone Souliers’ Co-Creative Directors Coco Fong and Valerio Bava comment: “For our new presentation we were inspired by the cinematic divas of mid-century noir movies. We wanted to capture the glamorous essence of these films, where romance meets darkness and there’s always an unexpected twist”.

Malone Souliers extends their thanks to NoMad Hotel for their gracious hospitality, with special appreciation to Hamish Powell for the botanical installation, and acknowledges the fantastic contributions of FAMILY.
