Flesh Launches A New 40-Shade Liquid Foundation
Pure Flesh Liquid Foundation, our favorite launch yet.
Flesh has done it again. Last summer Linda Wells, founding editor of Allure launched the beauty brand Flesh with 12 products. Every editor fell in love with Flesh’s foundation stick, a creamy and buildable formula that comes in 40 shades. This month Flesh launched their newest product, a liquid foundation that might just be one of our favorite Flesh products yet. Pure Flesh Foundation comes in 40 shades, with 7 undertones so that you can the foundation to your skin perfectly.
The formula has light to medium coverage that is buildable so you can achieve a higher amount of coverage. You can use a lighter shade as concealer or a darker shade to contour you can totally blend them together without having your face look like your preschool art project. Not many foundations can be used this way without looking blotchy or super cakey, which is why we love this foundation so much. It doesn’t have a matte finish, but actually makes your skin look like the way it is supposed to look naturally.

Pure Flesh Foundation was formulated with a skin-first approach, so the ingredients all actually benefit the skin just like your serums. Aloe vera is going to really soothe and hydrate the skin, the hyaluronic acid will also really pack in that moisture. Pure Flesh Foundation also has squalane in it, which is becoming a super popular ingredient in clean skincare products. Squalane is full of antioxidants, helps manage acne and keeps your skin moisturized. The water based formula makes this foundation great for people with oily skin, and even helped with my acne.
Available at Ulta and Flesh.com for $32.
