Like many designers, Evan Hirsch’s creative journey began at a young age with a love of drawing, coloring, & painting.
He was enrolled in several art classes at the local art league & remembers feeling at ease in front of his giant easel & canvas. In college Evan took several painting classes, & the studio was almost identical to the settings in which he first explored his creative side as a youth. The metal easels, paint stained sinks, & cloudy plastic water containers, offered a sense of creative nostalgia. A near immediate feeling of ease came over him.
For his Fall Winter 2025 collection, Evan sought to celebrate his love of painting by incorporating vibrant colors, distinct hues, & stunning ombres into the fabrications that evoked the artistic techniques he was first drawn to on when he began his creative journey.

“I remember how at home I felt when I walked into my first art studio during college,” says Evan Hirsch. “The range of color combinations, some making striking effects via their random color mixes truly inspired me this season. The ultimate expression of color mixing to me is the ombre and this season, I utilized the technique in a majority of my pieces.”
The Evan Hirsch name has become nearly synonymous with transforming reveal dresses which have gone viral on more than a few instances. This season, Evan pairs these dramatic moments with the art of color transformation, from one to another through a gradient. This allows a customer who doesn’t want a full “Broadway” quick change at their affair, to still have a transformation as their gown appears to blend from one color to another.
Paired with diamond jewels from MiaDonna, the custom headpieces of Binata Millinery, nails from Lechat, & set in the Friedrichs Pontone Gallery, this collection is the embodiment of an Evan Hirsch original work of art!
