The 2023 Miss Globe ® Awards World Final, a dazzling spectacle of beauty and culture, was held this November in the beautiful city of Tirana, Albania’s vibrant capital. Chosen for its charm and the warmth of its amazing people, Tirana, honored as this year’s European City of Sport, was seen by Petri Bozo, General Director and founder of the Deliart Association and Miss Globe® Beauty Pageant, as the ideal location for a Miss Globe®-styled “Mini Olympics”.
Marking the climax of nearly two weeks of cultural and social activities, this grand finale was distinguished by a unique environmental initiative where contestants from around the globe participated in planting seeds at the local Botanical Gardens. The theme for the Final Show, “Something out of a fairytale,” was perfectly embodied by the contestants and the judges. The Miss Runway Prize for 2023 was awarded by the multifaceted Elton Ilirjani – a model, activist, and philanthropist, to Albania’s Sonia Sallaku. Elton Ilirjani’s presence on the stage was commanding and captivating. His outfit, a fusion of folklore and fashion, was designed by the esteemed Albanian Fashion Designer LILO.

It represented a genderless folklore figure, blending “tirqe” trousers from Northern Albania with “xhubleta,” the historical dress of Northern Albanian women, now a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site. The ensemble was completed with a silver-painted mannequin’s bust, representing both male and female forms, and wings symbolizing the black eagle, Albania’s national emblem.
The Miss Globe ® Awards 2023 highlighted the diverse talents and beauty from across the globe, all converging in the picturesque city of Tirana, known for its stunning scenery and incredibly hospitable residents. This event not only celebrated the global community’s beauty and talent but also showcased Tirana’s unique charm and the warm spirit of its people.
Broadcast live on National Albanian TV (RTSH), Elton’s performance attracted a substantial viewership. His makeup, expertly applied by Mirela Baçi and under the artistic direction of Julia Ilirjani, added to the theatricality of his appearance.
