David Hart showed his Spring-Summer 2020 runway collection as part of New York Men’s Day.

David says, “As a collector of photography myself, I was excited to partner with the International Center of Photography to incorporate the Weegee archives into my spring summer 2020 collection. Like Weegee, I draw inspiration from my daily life in New York and it’s ever-changing spirit.”

The collection features tailored suiting in pinstripes and Prince of Wales plaid, red carpet ready tuxedos, and his iconic knit polos. Pieces featuring archival Weegee images (a crowd scene from Coney Island, a tiger at a side show, and a burlesque dancer) include long-sleeve shirts, camp shirts, a bomber jacket, and a trench coat.

David Hart partnered with Christian Louboutin to provide footwear for the collection.
