This year’s 2019 Fashion Palette Australian Swim Collection Show presented a wide variety of swimwear from eight Aussie labels: TJ Swim, Lil and Emm, Nookie Beach, Lahana Swim, Vincija Swimwear, Sage Swim, Sonya Swim and VDM the Label.
The one thing all these up-and-coming swim designers had in common was wanting their models to embody the relaxed, healthy, and bronzed look that beach babes down under are famous for — and in searching for a backstage beauty sponsor, they found the perfect match in fellow Aussie-founded brand, Bondi Sands.

How Fashion Palette Models Prepped for Swim Week With Bondi Sands
- Upon arriving at their fittings for the show, the Fashion Palette Australian Swim Collection models (including Aussies Natalie Roser, Steph Rayner, La’Tecia Thomas and Georgia Gibbs) were given a bottle of Bondi Sands Aero Tanning Foam and a reusable Self-Tan Application Mitt.
- The models were instructed to head home, exfoliate, and apply Bondi Sands Aero liberally to the Tanning Mitt before rubbing it into their skin, using a long, sweeping motion on the body.
- After leaving Aero on to develop for at least six hours, the formula was showered off and the models were ready to walk the runway with a deep, bronzed, golden glow, with any skin imperfections smoothed and existing tan lines faded.
