In a showcase during Berlin Fashion Week, Avenir, the winner of the Contemporary prize, unveiled its latest COMMUTE SS25 collection.
Two public streets at Potsdamer Platz were transformed into a catwalk, captivating an audience of over 600 attendees, who were treated to a display of innovative commuting attire that seamlessly blends style and functionality.
The SS25 collection is a vibrant celebration of contemporary style, characterized by a fresh palette of pastel hues including mint, green, yellow, lavender, and cream. Among the standout pieces were tailored denim blazers and intricate denim patchwork designs, reflecting a meticulous craftsmanship. The collection also featured wide-shouldered, oversized blazers paired with burlap shorts, offering a bold juxtaposition of textures. Hand-knit tops and skirts added a touch of artisanal elegance, while sheer blouses and trousers, crafted from fine cotton, provided a light, ethereal quality.
