Alex S. Yu I Jasive I The Tis at LONDON x GFC F/W ’24

Alex S. Yu ’s showcased collection was infused with his distinctive mastery of intricate colour palettes, modern functionality, dynamic silhouettes, contemporary femininity, and a touch of whimsical fantasy.

Capsule 006 features plenty of bright and luminously coloured tulle pieces, archived prints, and an abundance of ruffles incorporated into the classic ALEX S. YU silhouettes derived for the everyday dreamer. This collection would delight any woman who revels in a palette of vibrant colours, dynamic prints, unconventional shapes, and varied textures, placing paramount importance on comfort and functionality. With an eccentric, lively, and nonchalant essence, she perceives life through a lens of rosy optimism.

JASIVE showcased “Perfume”, a collection aimed to etch its aroma into the international fashion scene for eternity. With thirteen impeccably crafted designs, it exudes a sense of romance while staying true to the brand’s signature classic and dramatic style. The colour palette chosen to represent this collection comprises burgundy, blue, silver, black, and white, perfectly encapsulating the essence of a scent that lingers in the viewers’ memory.

What sets this collection apart is the meticulous attention to detail, as each garment is lovingly adorned with finely crafted silk flowers, framing the fabric in a way that is nothing short of artisanal brilliance. The showcase brings a touch of Mexico’s rich cultural heritage to the international stage while simultaneously redefining modern fashion.

The Tis has dipped into a whimsical wonderland with prominent white ribbons and floral details adorning pristine dresses with luxurious textured materials beloved of the brand, for its LFW showcase. Each stunning look was successful in its aim to capture a strong yet delicate, passionate and vibrant new romanticism. The Tis juxtaposes intense, glamorous details with a delicate atmosphere suggested by the white tones and sheer fabrics. This collection exudes a joyful yet strict ‘nobility’ culture through a static colour palette of somewhat bold and intricate patterns and silhouettes.
