Lithuanian-born, New York-based designer Aiste Hong made a resounding debut with her first Spring/Summer 2025 collection at The Harmonie Club, one of Manhattan’s most prestigious venues, on Friday, September 6th at 2pm. The highly anticipated runway show was a standout event at the official New York Fashion Week, showcasing Hong’s unique vision and innovative approach to luxury ready-to-wear fashion.
Aiste Hong founded her namesake luxury ready-to-wear brand after graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2021. Designed in New York, made in her home country of Lithuania, the brand merges modern femininity and contemporary power dressing, with an air of joie de vivre.
“The beautiful, strong women I design for know what luxury clothes should look and feel like. They will accept nothing less, and they shouldn’t. I designed this collection to serve both purposes, to give women the ability to dress like a CEO or an off-duty supermodel and all the variations in between.”
Drawing inspiration from memories of her childhood, Aiste’s first collection was inspired by an ancient Lithuanian folk tale, “Egle the Queen of Serpents” sculpture that Aiste visited as a child in the Lithuanian seaside. It embodies the idea of love, courage and transformation. The collection drapes effortlessly, yet unexpectedly, like the distinct waves of the Baltic Sea.
The lineup featured 19 looks characterized by asymmetric designs, elongated silhouettes, sensual draping, unexpected details and color blocking. The color palette started with warm neutral tones followed by striking use of lime yellow, baby blue, powdery lilac, deep purple and caramel brown. Finest natural Italian made silks, wools and cottons were used throughout the collection.
