Ahkeke’s Makes London Fashion Week Debut for their AW25 Collection ‘Whispers of the Secret Garden’

Ahkeke debuts at London Fashion Week with Whispers of the Secret Garden, a collection that unveils the hidden beauty of autumn and winter.

Ahkeke London is a premium women’s wear and jewellery brand, with a focus on European craftsmanship. They pride themselves on offering a curated selection of handcrafted pieces, blending contemporary designs with timeless elegance. Ahkeke’s latest collection is inspired by a chance discovery of a secluded London garden, the collection transforms nature’s quiet resilience into ethereal, sculptural fashion.

Ke Gong, designer of Ahkeke, moved from China to the UK 12 years ago to study Fashion Design. After gaining a wealth of experience at Osman London and Alexander McQueen, Ke Gong went on to create her own label keeping sustainable fashion at the forefront of her designs.

Ke Gong’s unexpected inspiration for this collection came from a secret garden, thriving beneath frost and snow, defying the starkness of the season. Picture berries clung to vines, wildflowers bloomed in hidden corners, and frost-kissed leaves glowing in muted reds. This brought Ke Gong to the core colours of this collection from a Deep green for the resilience of Ivy to a Blush pink & lavender for winter-blooming flowers. This quiet, enduring beauty became the heart of Ahkeke’s AW25 collection, breaking away from the expected earthy tones of winter fashion. Whispers of the Secret Garden channels the essence of winter’s overlooked vitality into its designs creating a delicate yet rich color palette that captures the elements of a hidden garden.

Similarly to the use of colour Ahkeke brought the language of the Secret Garden into the design elements and materials used in the collection. Each garment in the collection reflects the organic textures and structures of nature. Textured fabrics mimic twisting vines, while intricate berry-like buttons and petal-inspired pleats tell the story of a garden’s hidden wonders. Ahkeke has used sculptural silhouettes to bring depth and movement, mirroring the quiet energy of winter landscapes.

The AW25 collection challenges the monotony of traditional autumn/winter fashion by incorporating vibrancy and intricate storytelling into every individual piece. Paying a tribute to the resilience of both nature and those who wear it, the collection serves as a reminder to find the warmth and beauty in unexpected places.

Styled by Annie Hertikova who has previously styled for Net-a-porter, Harpers Bazaar and more and photographed by Chris Yates, Ahkeke’s debut marks a new chapter in seasonal fashion—where winter’s whispers are no longer silent but brought to life in striking, sculptural form.
