PRISCAVera SS20 Runway Show

PRISCAVera presented its Spring/Summer 2020 Collection, in a runway collection on the rooftop of the New Design High School in New York City. SS20 was a collection of boundaries: where they might meet and blur into one another. Earthy colors blend into hues of the sky and fire burns through water.
The garments explore and question sin and how in reality it represents human nature in its extreme manifestations. In the collection, color, cut and material communicate an urge to embrace human nature and nature itself with a technological twist. A bleeding typo print on denim and draped chiffon, with the words from Hieronymus Bosch’s painting of the Seven Deadly Sins, streamlined the contrast between analog and digital. PRISCAVera literally and metaphorically plunges both wearer and beholder into the depths of desire.
