Martinez Spring Summer Collection 2019

Martinez Spring Summer Collection 2019

Martinez’s new summer collection invites you to travel towards sunny South. The hand-laced leather iconic showpieces come in soft shades inspired by the landscapes of south of Spain. This journey begins on the Mediterranean coast and the Balearic Islands to slowly move towards the Andalusian hinterland.

Thin laced sandals, meshed high heels and slippers in smooth leather mixed with suede goat leather are part of the collection. Shapes become stronger and metallic and geometric heels are delicately covered with thin leather straps gently twisted by the craftspeople in the Alicante area.

The Barcelona slipper is crafted with an oversize mesh lacing. The new persiana and bamboo lacings come on the Saona slipper and the Cartagena sandal while the brand’s iconic lacings rejilla and damas are still on many showpieces.

The colour range reflects this Iberian journey, all in softness with brown and terracotta shades, dryland vegetation typical deep green khaki and light yellow and bright orange, colour of the citruses cultivated on this land.
