Liquid gowns skim the body with delicate intimacy; trailing linings, lace trims and asymmetric hems add a sense of polish coming undone. Sensual layering of slip -on, slip -off pieces is key to this unapologetically feminine look. A loose trench is knotted over a cascade of sheer midi – skirts. Embellished bralettes team with matching slips, or shimmering net skirts and tops.
Evoking a state of heightened sensitivity, the new boudoir is ever-present in shades of sage green, powder blue and blush. Dramatically draped silk wraps reveal as much as they conceal. Embroidered roses twine across lingerie -influenced gowns in black lace or pale pink silk. Corsets abound with provocative details : a sprig of tiny blooms, a bolero sliding off one shoulder, a satin spaghetti strap. Ruffles, bows and ribbons look both playful and distinctly grown up.
