Inside the Peet Dullaert Fall-Winter 2026 Haute Couture Collection

For the Fall-Winter 2026 Haute Couture season, Peet Dullaert explored the dialogue between artistic heritage and contemporary couture. The collection drew inspiration from Rembrandt van Rijn’s celebrated portraits of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit, masterpieces jointly preserved by the Louvre Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Rather than recreating historical costume, the House transformed centuries of craftsmanship into a contemporary couture language defined by movement, individuality, and timeless elegance.

Couture Techniques and Craftsmanship

Historical couture techniques played a central role throughout the collection. The iconic robe à la française was reinterpreted through modern construction, while the glamour of the 1920s found new expression in the House’s interpretation of animal-inspired motifs. Developments in panne velvet, lace coupé, knitted macramé, intricate hand embroidery, and exceptional textile craftsmanship celebrated the rich heritage of European haute couture while embracing innovation.

Inside the Peet Dullaert Paris Atelier

Every couture creation was handcrafted in the Peet Dullaert Paris atelier, where traditional savoir-faire meets contemporary materials and modern techniques. Meticulous handwork, exceptional attention to detail, and uncompromising craftsmanship remain the foundation of the House’s philosophy, where haute couture is regarded as a true form of artistic expression.
