Cummings’ elegant poem “I Carry Your Heart with Me,” the collection emerges as a declaration: of intimacy, of connection, of carrying what is dearest through life’s most sacred moments. “I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart),” the poem reads—a line that reflects not only the bond between bride and groom, but also the emotional significance behind each gown, created from the deepest layers of Hod’s inner life.
